Ditto! When I saw this pic I was thinking, "wow the famous dargah scene", which we have seen X number of times in G's shows. But the strong part is, each time it is good! 😆 So this scene will be equally good I am sure.
This episode was a turning point in the story. Om thinks Gauri is another Svetlana. He has empathy with Jhanvi Thakurayan because, in his mind he has identified her with his Mother. We saw the old Om he left behind coming to the fore. His call to his Mom, and his emotional reaction to Jhanvi2's plight. We are shown he is still the same guy inside.
This parallel track of having to face a similar situation to one he left behind is actually interesting. His dislike of Gauri will be cemented in something logical, and not something to do with a belief system or arrogance etc. He will think she is a woman who cares nothing for the feelings of another woman, and happy to take that woman's place in her husband's life. I agree Kali Thakur is at fault here. But in Om's eyes consenting to him makes Gauri at fault too, because she knows he is a committed man. Om hates such women who care nothing of breaking another woman's home. I get that part and I agree with him. It is not something to be admired. Here, the situation is different, but he doesn't know that YET! Episode 3 made me interested in this "Story". Not just a love story. I never wanted to watch just a love story anyway. They are dime a dozen. That is why I liked the Brothers angle because it was a point of difference. I am happy in this story, they are trying to show an actual "Plot" and not just random stuff.
Now DBO is interesting to me!
