firstly congrats to the forum being open but more than that high 5 for all the fans that got SP to give all of us wat we wanted, u all should be proud of yourself.

I was watching IB on Saturday and the last scenes of the brothers together made me sad. 1 part I love the fact that we have the spin off but another part I am saddened coz IB was supposed to break the saas bahu type of shows that we had on TV by having a male orientated show.

but the cvs inability to show this resulted in the show being a joke with the saving grace being the acting of the cast.

I love Om and don't get me wrong I love the fact that the show is being promoted on him. but the cvs of IB had a trump card in rudra and if he is part of dbo I think they need him to be promoted as well.

my worst fear is that this show is just gona be shivaay and anika no 2. I dnt want the new girl to be shown too much like anika. I want a healthy dose of all the characters. this show should not be just a 1/2 man show but should be inclusive of all the characters in the show.

furthermore the show needs a proper storyline. ib is just so mindless that I so don't want it to be like that.

no show can ran on romance only. u can watch that for a month or 2 but it will get boring eventually. so I am really praying for a complete show from dbo. shivaay, Om and rudra were mind, soul and body. and just coz the mind is elsewhere they can still focus and bring back this concept of body and mind. but more then that the show needs to have more concepts then love.

but honestly I really dislike IB and anika and I just want rudra out of there and in this show so hence complete show is needed. no rudra in IB I can't stand that show if he is there I have to watch the show with my mom and she is so worrisome coz I can't even change the channel when the show is annoying.

basic oberoi trait such as ruthlessness,anger,manhandling(which i hate d most),cold ,heartless emotionless wen comming to their FL will be exhibited by both om n rudhr i think.we cant help considering guls MLs

And FL will throw water at MLs which was done both soumya n anika now seeing recent pic of kunal i think gauri will also follow her ancestors.dey will mock n mimic MLs.

MLs will b tycoons(oms transformation) n FLs will orphaned n self employed with colourful language n slang.

so dont worry in a way IB reloaded is coming.

Despite having a show completely on two brothers and especially on om, do you think why om fans are not very excited for story

Because it is trp story

Same aym and bubbly girl story

Lack of three brothers

Clinched story

But I will talk about myself

I am also disappointed for many things but still I am happy and excited because I wanted Om and kunal to have focus. For that I even wished him to be antagonist of show once.

Lol! I was so fed up. Also I had wished om to die in show so that kunal quit and join another show.

But here I am getting whole show itself. So I am not pessimist. This is daily soap. After 2 months they will definitely show rubbish. As most of show script is ready till 2- 3 months. After that writers write according to trp which is already happening with ib. And this is another trp show so i don't expect anything new. Rumya can have liberty to get something new so I am hopeful for their story. Leenesh and neha has already started shooting . Chubby and sara khan is bring for Rudra. So it means rudra will get focus. For few days cv may show om and gauri more to establish their love story.

If you ask what I want. Then I want this show to be male oriented with intelligent male. Both OmRu will fight their demons and the story should revolve around them. It should not again become like nayi soch ka promoter by making male leads dumb and spectators doing nothing.

I am just praying for this only.

I agree totally with you. What happened in IB should not happen here too. This show should not become IB re-loaded with the same boring story of arrogant sophisticated male and bubbly, unpolished girl who doesn't speak proper English. So fed up of this cliched ghisa pita concept of Gul's. One of the reasons I would never have watched IB if it had not had a 3 Brothers story. I actually didn't even watch the show for nearly 4 months. But a few people told me to check it out so I did. The only thing that drew me was the Brothers concept.

I so badly wanted to see a "Male oriented" show with Bromance and the guys and their perspective being the angle in which the story is told. I didn't want ANY female lead to get prominence over the males. I wanted them to be the "Foil" in each of the guy's stories and for them each to fall in love and then "Rise" in love. But the brothers needed to be the focus because this is their journey. Even the Love stories had to be from THEIR angle and perspective, not the females. But what happened? The show became a "One woman show", and everything revolved around one woman instead of three men. I got so fed up I even stopped watching. My aunt who is in her 50's stopped watching the show coz she can't stand the FL. (I actually used to like her, but she never did). When they stopped showing the other guys much, she stopped watching. I told her about DBO (coz we both watch on Hotstar) and she said she will watch that for sure.

I REALLY hope this show focuses on both Om and Rudra and does not do a "repeat telecast" of their same old story. So fed up of it. They really need to come up with something more original. At least if they give good SS to Rudra and RUMYA, then the story will have some balance. The show needs to make sense and have a "Story". Not random and inane stuff like what IB has become now. It used to be much better at the start. I like Om and I love Rudra, but I am no one's Blind fan, and will never pretend if I think the character or story is not disappointing when it is. Personally, this is NOT the story I wanted for Om. So on that score, I am disappointed. But I am SO happy that the efforts to get both OMRU screen space and a story finally worked. The requests to the channel worked. Let's be honest, if the channel didn't think these guys were popular enough or sellable enough, they would NEVER have done this. So it's a tribute to OmRu and their fan following that this is happening at all. I am very very happy for the guys, and for Neha. But I seriously hope this show does not become like IB and repeat their mistakes. Because one thing I DO know of this PH for sure is, they never learn from their mistakes. So on that score, I am worried. But I hope for the best and hope SP doesn't let them go too crazy, nor try to make this show into one of SP's typical mahan bahu shows. Don't need more ladies like the one's from their long running shows who are SO filled with goodness and sacrificing Devi's. Let's hope at least this new FL whatever she is wont go down their cliched path and ruin this show too.

I can't believe the episode was replication of Shivika meet. An arrogant business man and a middle class girl..

I used to like Om character as he seemed to be the only with some respect to women. But him throwing money on somebodys face, being arrogant, has downgraded his status in my eyes. Ufff Gul and her ultra rich arrogant MLs.

Is there any creativity left in Gul or is she going to recycle the same story line with all her series. What is with her obsession about rich over smart ML looking down on middle class girls, and later manhandling them.

DBO off my list of "to watch the shows"
