It may be possible. Originally om FL was supposed to be like that only. Ishana had same character but the track scrapped.

And shrenu and kunal repeatedly saying this that gauri is modern woman. But her character is now rustic village girl. First I thought that may be they talking about gauri modern independent thinking. But after thinking more I find they never once used modern word for mentality. They just used modern independent Strong woman. Independent and strong a village girl OK but modern word is here ambiguous.

I am sure that gauri is disguised as village girl for some purpose. Later when om and gauri come close this secret revelation will create another misunderstanding.

I completely agree on this and am hoping she is an investigating officer sent by Shivay earlier only to find out in depth about Kaali Thakur. Hopefully she's not 5th pass and is educated and very modern and also independent and working. We all wanted Oms FL to be like Shivay. Also it will add more fire to there love story. They must reveal this truth once Omkara completely falls in love with Gauri and visa versa. Omkara should get furious with Gauri and they should show an intense confrontation scene of the two ( just like Ishanas and Oms). Then they should show Omkara being effected by her absence and in this way he will realise he loves her.
This separation should happen once they r back in Mumbai. Will love to see Omkara in pain as he will be in then start missing her.
Besides then this will be " Takkar ka Pyar" as Dadi predicted. Om will marry a girl who will lie to him.

I really wish this is true. Then we also have Riddhimas reentry to add a third angle. So Riddhima should reentry wen there will be trouble in Omkaras and Gauris love story.
Riddhima will be shocked to see Omkara with another girl.
CVs have so much to explore with DBO and especially Omkaras love story which can get intense. Hope they do a good job with his story. Besides they also have a good actor like Kunal who will do complete justice to this character.

I also wonder if this Gauri twist dose not happen then Omkaras love story will be nothing different. Same old Aarnav and Khushi ka story. For that matter Shivika are no different same story with different characters. 😆
