So apparently Dhruv hates his father as he remarried within 2 months of his real mother's demise and the character played by Neetu Vaghuela is his stepmother whom Dhruv has never accepted. And well i don't like her either. She treats her elder daughter in law as a servant and won't even let her visit temple because household chores are more important

And Apparently Dhruv's elder brother lost his eyes in small pox when their father was celebrating honeymoon with his second wife. So his hatred is kind of justified.

It isn't completely clear now. She definitely enjoys the tamasha which Dhruv creates in the house, but that could be because her mother in law doesn't treat her well. But so far she hasn't actively tried to do anything negative herself
