Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein in Mumbai

The cast of Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein on STAR One is excited, as the set of the show has shifted from Pune to Mumbai. At the same time, they also admit to missing Pune, where the serial was being shot since it started. We catch up with the team of the show and find out their views about the change, and also get them to share their memories of Pune.

Alka aka Sara Khan exclaims, "I like the shift to Mumbai, as it is convenient for everyone. My family is here, and it feels so good to go back home after the shoot. Even though I missed them, I had become immune to these feelings over time, but now that we are back, I realize what I was missing. The food on the sets is also much better in Mumbai than what we used to get in Pune. However, I have to admit I really miss the pleasant climate of Pune; it was nice and cold there. It is so humid in Mumbai that we have to redo our makeup every five minutes in between the shot."

Aarti aka Neetha Shetty says, "I am very happy that we have shifted to Mumbai, as I have my family here, and had to keep travelling from Pune to Mumbai to meet them. Of course, I will miss Pune, as we spent some seven or eight months shooting there. I had gotten attached to the place. Another thing that I will miss is that I could freely go out and shop whenever I had the free time. I don't get much privacy in Mumbai, as people keep coming to meet us. People in Pune don't approach actors much."

Abhishek aka Deepak Wadhwa adds, "I am happy to shift to Mumbai, as our set here is this beautiful sea-facing bungalow. I am living with a friend, as my family is in Delhi. Everyone is happy as they have family here; I am the only exception. The thing I miss about Pune is that it used to take only five minutes to travel from the sets to the studio, but here, thanks to Mumbai's traffic, it takes at least an hour. However, I feel that this shift is good for everyone, as networking with people from the industry is possible in Mumbai, which is important in our profession. I am sure everyone will get more work here."

Gauri aka Sheetal Dabholkar chimes in, "Mumbai is my city, and I feel so good to be back here. The set is in Madh Island, and the view is awesome. We have a beach right in front of the set, and there is so much greenery around. I miss the weather of Pune, as it used to be so cold there, unlike Mumbai, which is humid."

Savitri aka Nilima Prandekar too feels the same. "Mumbai is my hometown, so I am happy to be back here. Also, there is more professionalism here, and the set is more comfortable. I miss the pleasant weather of Pune, and I miss the relatives I met often there. I also miss the bungalow where we used to shoot, as it had a completely different aura.

ohhh so be ready to see this show interview in SBS AND SBAB

surely cost reduction measures are on

mrs. nilema i also think that old PUNE bungalow had its own aura

it had lot of space but this new bungalow allow lesser the rays of light to penetrate into the house and in the lifes of its characters.

where is MOHAN JOSHI comment over this change . most of the characters are happy naaah everyone is happy.

really its a good news as DEEPAK said whole industry is set in mumbai so its better to have interactions with other sources to find more work

I have always been wondering why sbs and sbb have never aired any interview of dlmh, thought I know they used to shoot in pune but news channels only want stuff so they could have made efforts for the same...have never heard about the stars from the show apart from the news indya.com brought for us. I am huge admirer of Chander😃 he was just too good and I miss him badly😔...and I want him back on the show...I hav no idea about pune but mudh island is a beautiful place and hope the cast and crew enjoys working there...all the best guys...😊
