In STAR One's prime time show Dhoond Legi Manzil Humein, Savitri and Aarti have always shared a great bond. However, when Savitri learnt that Aarti is her daughter, whom she had believed dead, she was shocked along with the audiences.

Now, there is a bigger twist in store for the viewers, as in tonight's episode, Alka will find out about this bitter truth of her life. It will completely shake her. Alka will overhear a conversation between her parents regarding Aarti's parentage, and will get the shock of her life.

A STAR One.in source reveals, "Aarti always knew that Savitri is her mother, but never told her so. Recently, during a chat, Aarti accidentally blurted out the truth to Savitri, who was shell shocked. Savitri recalled the birth of Aarti and the fact that her husband Nityanand told her that the baby was stillborn. Believing him, Savitri had lived with the loss so long. However, after Aarti's revelation, Savitri has decided to confront Nityanand about hiding the truth from her. Inadvertently, Alka will over hear her parent's conversation and will get a jolt on hearing that Aarti is her half-sister."

A puzzled Alka Tiwari aka Sara Khan says, "I have realised that everything is fair in love, politics and war. Since the past few days, I have noticed that my mother is very disturbed. I hope to talk to her and find out what is bothering her."

We asked Sara Khan if she has ever faced a big truth or revelation in real life which shocked her to the very core. She replies, "Yes, there were some family truths, which came as a shock to me. However, I will not able to talk about them, as they are very personal."

Savitri aka Neelima Parandekar has been shocked and distressed with the turn of events. "I don't know what to say after finding out that my first daughter is alive, and that it's none other than Aarti. As a wife, I had complete faith in my husband, but it was a huge shock for me to know that he hid such vital information from me. He kept a mother away from her daughter for so many years," she avers.

Aarti aka Neetha Shetty is worried about the consequences of this revelation, "I don't know how Alka will react on uncovering this truth. First and foremost, I am hoping for my mother's acceptance of me, and only then I will be able to react on my future."
