They say the truth will set you free, but truth can also be bitter. On Dhoond Legi Manzil Humein, Alka's mother, Savitri, will soon find out the truth about Aarti.

There will be a major twist in the story. Aarti and Savitri are now completely oblivious to the fact that their connection goes beyond the camaraderie and closeness they share. It will be disclosed soon that Aarti is actually the daughter born to Savitri and her ex-lover. This will be a shocker for Savitri.

We spoke to Aarti aka Neeta Shetty, who sympathetically says, "I am aware that Savitriji is my real mother, but I can't tell everyone until she knows the truth. I don't want to ruin her life. I want her to know the whole truth and accept me as her daughter. I want the audience to see the special bond between us."

Neeta feels lucky that nothing so dramatic has happened to her in real life. "Nothing so earth-shattering has happened to me," she says.

Savitri Tiwari aka Neelima Parandekar musters the strength to speak, "I am impressed with Aarti's attitude towards Alka and me. Whenever we meet, I feel a strong connection between us. I was thrilled to learn that we love the same kind of laddoos. Since nobody in my family likes them, I have decided to take some to Aarti's place."

When asked about similar incidents in real life, Neelima shares an incident from her college days. "In college, during the admissions, meri maa ne mere birth certificate pe mujhe do saal bada kar diya tha. But it wasn't her fault either. She was in her 20s when I was born. She didn't know that it would be a problem later in life," she says.
