I read some horrible comments about Babita in BS. Did she ruin Karishma's life like they say?

That seems to be the overwhelming consensus.

She is said to have chosen Randhirir over another dude because Randhir seemed to have better prospects. But he ending up being drunk and etc etc. This is actually an issue with the Kapoor men. For this one thing I do give Babita credit. One reason why she was disliked in the family while Neetu Singh wasn't is that Neetu Singh when she left Rishi, stayed with the Kapoor family, while Babita left.

And then well then comes the rest of their life away from the Kapoors, which had its own issues. Karisma got into films (maybe even pushed by her mother) to support her family. Unlike Kareena, she had to fight and work hard because she had no support from her Kapoor name.

Then comes Abhi-Karisma break up rumors. There are quite a few that fly around, but in the end most also have some or a lot of blame on Babita.

I think she did to a point some PH were even boycotting not to work with Karishma cause her mother dealt with everything like an iron fist and turn people off. Things started turning for Karishma after working for Yash Chopra movie Dil To Pagal Hai, otherwise she would've been stuck doing a hundred movie with David Dhawan. Babita started the same shit with Kareena too thats why KNPH wasn't her first and that flop with talent less AB in Refugee.

There's also the fact that she pushed Karishma to marry her now husband, which was clearly a mistake. She was on the rebound, and he... well we all know about him. But he has some points too. He's a cheater and all other things, but I think he in one of their disputes mentioned how much money he shells out for Babita's lifestyle.

Plus he was based in Delhi, Karisma in Bombay. Neither were really willing to shift. Though I think she did at first, but then soon afterwards he probably cheated since that dispute came with him making sure she couldn't take their kid out of the country.

Here is you can do better attitude that screw up Karishma life. I think in a way Kareena seeing her big sis going through that helped her to make better choices and not allow mom to control her life
