I didn't say it was selfishness. True the topic is under that name. But I was replying to what was written about Saroj walking in.

Yes, they could put their clothes on and open the door, but I don't think everything would always go so smoothly. Just because he puts clothes on and opens the door, doesn't mean it wouldn't be obvious to Saroj. That would be so embarrassing. Like I said, many times yes, it will go off without a hitch, but not all the time.

I wrote that before reading your reply 🤣 after reading i added more ... but i still don't get it ... this is the same way i have always felt about another thing but can't write that here 😆

India and Indians are full of contradictions is all I can say. If you really want to get into it, I think the Victorian rule had a lot to do with it. Maybe Mughal rule and previous conservative Indian rulers as well. It's a place where we see so many statues and art, showing some of the most scandalous poses. And yet, the very same thing that's shown in these artworks, and even literature is chi chi-ed upon.

But about the parents, yeah it's not an Indian or desi thing. We don't want to think about them, and don't want them to think about us.
