You mean to us? Yes. Though it wasn't exactly unwillingly. He was very much ready to go against Baapji, but loan sharks paid a visit. By this time he had found out that the reason Pradeep so easily was willing to give him business contacts and finances is because of the alliance. (They don't know that Mohan was kept in the dark about the alliance,)
So he decides to marry Kastur for the business opportunity, which will also allow him to pay back the loan sharks.
