I know that possibly others would have opened/ like to open topics on this, but I sincerely hope I managed to beat others to it... Rarely that something instigates me to open a topic... especially due to the pot-holed plot lines in this serial...Not to say that today's episode did not have its own loopholes. However; far far far more than their interactions while weaving the garlands, which seemed slightly juvenile to me, the scene at the temple really made it for me....

Their maturity speaks volumes for a few seconds of this scene. We could probably try and evade thinking about the poor make-up, the poor editing and the poor lighting when we see what Veer had to say with his eyes!
What could be a more beautiful setting than the darkness of a humble village temple. Just as Veer sits by himself in his own thoughts about his future missions, his lady (not yet known to be in love) walks in to request him to rest, so that his journey ahead should be trouble-free.
As Veer starts teasing her about her lust for the treasure, does he start getting attracted to her? Did he feel something for her or did he read her feelings through her eyes? Why come so close to ask her what her intentions were?
All the following incidents transpired so slowly - Shera becoming a nervous wreck, while Veer confidently inches closer to her hair. Aware of his presence behind her, she does not know what to say! Why couldn't he eventually take his eyes off her? Was it attraction? Could he gauge how her heart was silently racing or notice how she was twiddling with her fingers? He had never shown an inkling of allurement towards her, even once prior to this; and this inspite of all the help that she had meted out to him and his brother.
I wonder...was it just plain mischief to tease her or was it the smell of her wild hair that drew him? Why did he come so close that their tip of their noses almost touched, as she turned to look back at him? It was as though he almost wanted to kiss her... well... possibly the anxious girl would have even obliged, had it not been for the interruptions...
and then whew we wake up to those pesky kids.. ๐
