Suggestions and comments (plz read imp) - Page 5

Well..if we have a creative centre..
I think the present creations should be merged into that creative centre, like in PRC members continue to post their creations in the media thread.

The first 4-5 replies in the thread will be taken up by links to ffs, videomixes, etc.. *because at this time, i've added all that in the archive mansion, so its easier to find when we are dealing with the media centre*

and in creative/media centre Members can reply..and post back commments/suggestions..

E.g.

Pari replies, saying "I have just converted a new song 4rm DV..feel free to add it in"

or .. Lashy says "I've just started a new FF in..Please add it in the creative thread"..

So that'll make it more active.

+ if we merge both creations thread with the media centre, it will save putting up an extra annoumcent ..

HELPDESK:

I also think ..that the helpdesk should be moved to the annoucment..because thats going to be there for like forever..and it will be more useful if it was an annoucment.

DOTW :

I think the discussion of the week *the one which is posted on friday should be made sticky* Not the daily episode discussions. Because they take too much space.

by this mean.. The thread which is made on the update of each epiosde of the week by Nish..it already contains the list of the updates for an episode, so we don't need to make it a sticky..Members can acces.."pics,written, video updates, what i like/didnt like, daily discussions..from that thread only..so we don't really need to keep them a sticky.

If the newsletter will be per week..all the main information could be in that thread only..instead of making new topics.E.g Birthday posts, or contests.

Birthday posts, can be included in the NL, and so can the contests, each edition will have a contest, so there is a contest of the week in the NL itself...

VOTING THREAD:

Each week, the dev team or a volenter member, should post a topic with 5 items of "siggys", "avatars", fanfics", "scene of the week" "star of the week"..and members vote the best item from each..like what fanfic they liked most that week etc..and the total for that will be included in the NL and the winners will get siggys.and this can happen each week..

This voting scheme will make the forum more active, and more members will be encouraged to write more FFs, make more videomixes, make siggies, make avatars.. and it will also help the creative part of the forum be active.

@: Nish..I meant to say, Discussions realting each episode should be made sticky..as members can access them in the thread by you relating the week's updates. 😉 So it will save making more updates sticky, and members can acess the what i like/didnt.. written/video/daily discussion on each episode in the thread for the updates made each week..Instead of making other threads sticky..Members will get all those updates/dotws in that thread

@: Lashy..Thank you 🤗 I will work on it all After my exams end..which is on the 10th. I think we should give a bit time, as i've seen not many members seem to be making Videomixes etc on DV.
