Well friends I am loyal RT's fan but I think the groundwork or the premises on which DV was laid was never made to look like an out and out "RT's reply Vehicle" and moreover the show was not at all full of life and inspiring compare to PRC as the plot was weak, unenthusiastic and retiring.

We've seen exceptional acting prowess of RT in PRC which was based on a real historical event so we could perfectly relate it to but here the actors (barring RT) were not up to the mark maybe coz of slapdash acting dialogues, out of place characters, unreal sets, no commonsensical storyline (was a Las ketchup sauce) and more importantly too many plots too early then messing it up with failing to give a logical end to each one.

Lastly why DV failed was because the show never got weight by the channel in terms of creating alertness , no full of zip promotional activities for DV (like they do for others).SAGARS failed this time as they were relying heavily on BRAND TOKAS without considering the Brand Equity Principle. RT tried his most excellent as he could but at the end DV has been his not so stirring or enthusing performances.

DV"s only discount grace "Brand Tokas which has to an extent diminished its stock (fan) value doing a pedestrian serial like DV".
