If we were to cut out the portion Kali arrived till the part Shank was mocking Parvati and Mahadev appeared, it would not have effected the flow of the storyline. That's why i feel there was no strong reason or presence of Kali in that scene.

To be frank, i feel cheated by this Kali act.

Because when we first thought there was going to be a war, i expected 'real' war. Not a few of them standing and randomly mocking each another. That's not war.

And Kali came from no where. Fine, she came and fight for a while which Shankchut where he and Lohitang continued mocking her. She did some damage to the nature and Mahadev reminds her of her promise and she cools down. So that's it? To me, it appeared that this was done just for the sake of having Mahakali. She had nothing much to do this time as Mahakali. Like when the previous Kali's chopping the head and collecting the blood in the other hand was really good to watch. She didn't had that here.

They could have at least had Shank's armies protecting him and Kali killing them and then reaches Shank to kill him and the fight. That at least makes it more realistic than making Kali look weak or defeated IMO. More than Suhasi, i feel for the way they simply brought in Kali here and took her out as though there was no significance to Kali's arrival. 😕
