So many stories of Mahadev in MB - Arjuna gets his Pashupatastra from Mahadev, Gandhari's boon to have 100 sons, Draupadi's boon to have five husbands, etc.

From what I know of the Banasur story, Parvati/Adi Shakti has no active part in it. So, Narayan's comment regarding decision of Jagdamba - ?!

Thanks for the website link. I read it. It is a bit similar to the story, as I know it. Although, the story that I have read, there is no dispute with Narayan. And in the end a wee bit of working in tandem to destroy Banasur's Ahankaar.

Still the role of Adi Shakti is a mystery. So lagta hai ki yeh DKDM Puran hi hoga...😔
