Definitely this current track is no where near the first original Sati track. From the promos for the Maha Episode it looks like even this week is going to be just some more tu tu main main.

In any case, in many places I can see that ppl are saying it is from Shiv Puran. I am not an expert, but I have been reading up on everything I can regarding Shiv Shakti and also the Purans ever since I started watching DKDM. There is absolutely no indication of any such storyline anywhere. So this is definitely the writers total imagination (which is also obviously very very limited) track - which is why it is going on like an Ekta Kapoor soap.

We were a group of ten who used to watch this show "addictively". Over the past three months, slowly one by one everyone gave up watching the show, except two of us. After yesterday's epi, my last saathi with who I watch and discuss this show, has decided to move on to another show at this time, as she is of the opinion that the PH will not do anything...

So that leaves me - still hoping that the PH will realise the need to do something and pull the show out of the lows it has reached.

The characterization of Sati is very different from the one shown before unfortunately they have not been able to connect well the past to the present and thereby feels like two different stories of Shiv and Sati.

She is just not getting out of the jungle and scenes are getting very monotonous.

I am more sad looking at the frames where earlier the photography used to be first rate sadly very shoddy work now.

U hv hit the nail on the head.

Absolutely right,

The characterization is totally different.
- In the first track the brief given to the actress seems to have been "girlish, haughty".
- In the current track the writer and director seems to have given the actress the brief to play it "childish, petulant, self-absorbed".

The technical aspects - photography, computer imagery etc etc has been going down since the past few months, but in this track, they have found new lows.

Is anyone (apart from me) cringing when Sati is addressing Shiva as "tum" ? Is it a part of the CVs attempt to "connect" with the younger generation?

actually ..

cvs are acting like dumb.. in the verge of thinking to connect with young gen .. htey are forgeting tht it is a mythology show..

and what the hell with maha episode ad..

y does sati scold mahadev ..?? she scolds him so brutally... no where in the puranas did goddess sati scold her husband/ any body this way...

i am not opposing this track / against mouni-mohit.. but this track is pulled unnecessarily...

seems like it is just a craving for trps...

and secondly I do cringe..!!

I never objected fr Humanzing Shiva.. but this one seems to go OTT and is the WORSE THAN THE WORST portrayal of shiv

how so ever they justify it (especially the writer fans) bt its making no sense..

It seems like tht the writer is showing the interpretation of induction of Shiv cult in the vedic mainstream vedic culture.. bt this is definitely nt the way.. infact this show is nt the platform to show an interpretation nd even if you want then there r better ways of showing it rather than turning Sati into a pestering girl nd Mahadev Tarzan
