Most of these stories are focused on Adishakti and that is the reason for the disinterest by makers to focus on them.
Infact in purans full of Shakti killing all the asurs and demons.
Shiv role is minuscule maybe that is why primary stories like Kanya Kumari, Madurai Minaxi are sidelined by the makers because the role of Adishkati is more in those stories.
Apart from that if there are Shiv Centric stories which will bring him more in the forefront can be explored by the makers.

There are many many Shiv Shakti stories, which are very beautiful and powerful; but the stories are such that it would be very difficult for them to put it on screen (there would be a huge backlash - as a very large section of believers "who view the beliefs more from the lens with the western view from victorian times " would not be pleased). These stories are multi layered - so even focusing only on the simple story they would not be able to do justice. Usually each layer becomes clear only after multiple readings.RE stories on Adi Shakti:The current writer - based on the track record of what he has done with the available detailed stories, would certainly make a hash of it. Look what he did in the Arunasur track!

Well I beg to differ which is my viewpoint Andhak track was pathetic because I did not like the guy chosen to play the role and the funny part was Hiranya the father of Andhak is reborn as Kumbakarna and to hide that folly they showed Hiranya as just some ordinary King because they where playing it parallel to Ramayana.
The only Good track was that of Malla/Mani which payed because of good acting and good story line.Since last year DKDM which ruled LO fell because of these discrepancies in story and yes this year gone worse but was already on the decline.

The Malla Mani/Mahalsa Martand track was memorable only and only because of the superb, outstanding acting by Sudesh Berry as Malla and Mani. He just overshadowed everybody - and I mean everybody. If this actor had not been a part of the track - then even this track would not have carried well.
Back to the current track, the leprosy track is okay, but Nahush-Ashoksundari track is intolerable. Indrayani character is insufferable. The writer needs a reality check - really really badly.Fleshing out stories usually means not losing the essence of the story - here the characterisations are so poor that😡😡. Also, I believe this story cannot and does not refer to the Nahush who is Mahadev's SIL. What are they doing for God's sake.I had really high hopes after the Narayan Mahadev Yudh track, but now ...
