Knew something was wrong, as the handling of the track is so lack lustre. The relief of UN being out of the picture was very short lived. The PH obviously needs someone to pound sense into them. 😕

Wonder what they were going for with the costume/look! Three parts Conan the Barbarian😡 and one part Tarkasur?.

Another problem I think is fitness. During Jullander, MR had really worked on his bod - also he was totally into the character. This time around, other than the total disinterest, it looks like he has not had the time or the inclination to work his body.

Disinterest has been visible since long - cannot blame him really (yeah, I am biased), he has been at it for the longest time and the storylines etc are so ho hum, the repetition must be getting to him too.

Since its UN, I guess the focus will shift to giving more footage for Parvati ... The story has already been murdered beyond recognition...

I feel even graphics work is not as stunning as it was in past. Shoddy and not as visually arresting as in past. This is bad. People should do their job earnestly if they stuck to it. After all this show gave them recognition.

Looks like people arent happy with Mohit's performance as Lohitang..i am not in a capacity to comment on it since i selectively watch only the interesting episodes that i come to know of through WUs & discussions here.. but i am completely amazed by how people are complaining about Parvati being glorified in DKDM in comparison to Mahadev?! 😳 😳.. if anything, the opposite holds true for DKDM irrespective of whichever writer & whichever track.. i think the only time Parvati was given due credit was during the (brief-short-lived) Dhumavati & Baglamukhi track ( but definitely not the whole malla-mani track)..Ramayan- well i didnt watch it but i doubt if Parvati had anything concrete to do in it, Arunasur- it was purely Shakthi-centric legend yet they twisted it soo much to eulogize Mahadev, Banasur- Parvati didnt have much to contribute here; with only bits & pieces thrown in between to acknowledge her presence in the show & finally Sati Rahasya- 🤢 ..

Well i thought i clearly saw posts mentioning Parvati being eulogized or glorified by certain writer to make Mahadev look like a weakling in comparison..😕..and about pushing her in where the story does not actually need it( which is true to certain extent), i think even here the opposite holds true, examples being Arunasur & all the major Devi oriented tracks before..and i think people have found it annoying at times that all Parvati has to do is stand & worry but thats fine too since the show is about Mahadev.. but i wonder which dreamy eyed teenagers fancies the writer seems to be catering to ?..😕.. i think everybody ( including the so called dreamy teenagers) only yearned for one thing from DKDM-"stick to the original legends!".. the CVs butchered the beautiful legends beyond recognition.. if only, they had followed the original legends, none of this problem would have arisen.. but it seems some people are happy with DKDM's cooked up versions but they seem to have a problem ONLY when the cooked up versions do not cater to their fantasy imaginations..

u know what, I too thought the same..what if Lohitang was supposed to be like this?.. I mean may be it was a conscious decision on Mohit's part..may be he just wanted to make it sure that Lohitang doesn't come across as Jalandhar & thus displaying his versatility... I believe actors ( at least secretly) yearn to be known for their versatile skills..so may be that's what Mohit was attempting to do..whether or not this attempt backfired, I can't comment on it just yet since I havnt watched the recent episodes but may be it did backfire after all or at least that's what it seems like going by the posts here, plus, Mohit not being as physically fit as he used to be during jalandhar track does prove that he has given up or is at least uninterested in playing his part these days..
