An article titled "New Parvati has light eyes just like the old" has appeared in today's 'Bombay Times' (Page 6). BT is supplementary paper of TOI in Mumbai. The article basically trashes Sona some more (stating that she had "unreasonable hike demands"), and also alleged that the shoot had to be stalled "sometime back" for about 3-4 days because of her. And, in the article, Nikhil Sinha confirms the new development about Pooja's casting, and says that Ramayan will be narrated from Mahadev's POV ("interesting tracks will open up in the show"), and Shiv & Parvati will be integral to the story.

good!! this is one side of the story n convenient to beleive. could be true...n what is the other side of story...hmmm not many takers, i guess...thats the bitter truth!!

still does not justify the way they did it...one keeps going back to the events of past few weeks...

That's the unfortunate part. In last wk's interview of Sona, she said that she was simply standing up for her rights (which has been labelled as "unreasonable hike demands" and "throwing tantrums" and and whatnot). Also, in the article, the allegation of the shoot being stalled because of her seems to be quite a serious allegation (even IF the "source" of the story is unreliable). I'm not taking sides here. And I'm NOT saying the article is completely accurate. But Sona needs to come out with her side of the story, sooner rather than later.

I read the news today in Mumbai times and they said that Sonarika had the inkling she will be going and that she had stalled shooting and had problems blah blah. They even said she was in denial about it till the last moment and Nikhil has also commented saying Pooja is the new Parvati.
Whatever happened was very wrong but I wish Sona puts everything behind her and moves on to a new show. She has a great future ahead of her.
She should choose her next projects wisely. I will look forward to her comeback eagerly.
But DKDM has lost it's charm without her will be very difficult now for me to accept someone new in her place so decided to take a break from the show.
