The amount of time dedicated to 'Durgasura' is minor, compared to the glaring inaccuracies. First of all, it was Durgum, not Durgasur. Next, he did a whole bunch of stuff, like take Brahma captive, make the Vedas unavailable to anybody and instituting a reign of terror. He did not invade Kailash. This serial seems to be of the view that if Shiva/Parvati/Kartikeya are not attacked first, it is improper of them to retaliate or kill anyone. Which is hogwash - as the supreme godheads, they have every right to initiate punishments against evil doers.
And this too - Ma Durga got her name b'cos she killed Durgum. If Mahadev killed Durgum as well - as shown here, we'd be calling him something related to Durg as well, but we don't. Also, if Durgum could split himself into 2 and attack both Parvati & Mahadev, he could just as easily have split himself into 3, sent 2 of his clones to kill them while the original Durgum could have just sat at home & watched the fun. See how ridiculous this sounds?
