Hi Friends,
I know I am a very small and silent member of this forum, not authorized to write WU- but still today I thought i will write the WU - because I want to do it for our Mahadev.
Ravan carries the shiv-linga and he is on his way to Lanka. Ganesh takes the form of a Shepard boy and blocks his way.
Ganesh asks a lot of questions to Ravan like - " Who are you ? Why are you carrying your aradhya in your hands? Why cant I see your aradhya ? " - This angers Ravan a lot.
He scolds Ganesh when he tries to touch the shivling. Ravan tells him " Don't you dare touch this shivling with your dirty hands. Get back to work and clear all your pashu (animals- goat) out of my way. I don't have time to answer the questions of such silly boys like you"
Back at Kailash, Devi Parvathi gets precap visions of the future. (She realises that she has to take durga roop very soon but doesnt know why)
Then coming back to the main story, Our smart Ganesh starts eating food in front of Ravan. Ravan's mouth starts watering after smelling the wonderful aroma of delicious food which Ganesh is eating. Ravan requests Ganesh to give him some food. But Ganesh eats everything and says that food is over. Ravan gets angry.
Next Ganesh drinks water in front of Ravan. Ravan feels thirsty. He orders him to give him some water. Here again Ganesh drinks all the water and says that Water is over. Ravan gets furious.
Then Ganesh says that he will go and get water for Ravan .
ganesh goes to a river. He prays to Varun dev. Varun dev comes and fills the entire river in one Kamandalu (small pot) . Ganesh goes back to Ravan and gives him water to drink.
Ravan drinks the entire kamandalu's water and he lands in a dilemma :-) :-) :-) He He He He...
Ravan apologizes to Ganesh for his rude behaviour and requests him to hold the shivling for sometime.Ravan goes to bathroom giving the shivling to Ganesh. Ganesh tells ravan that he will keep the shivling in his hands only till sunset because it is very heavy. Ravan tells him that he will come back before sunset.
But Alas...Ravan fails to return before sunset and Ganesh keeps the shivling down on earth and runs away. Ravan comes back and he is shocked to see the shivling on the ground.
He tries to lift the shivling back from the ground but in vain. Our Mahadev appears before Ravan and reminds him about his condition - " Tum mujhe jahan bhi (darti par) utaroge, me vahan hi stapit ho jaunga", Ravan begs Mahadev not to do this to him. He pleads with Mahadev to come to Lanka. But Mahadev tell him " Because of your pride in bhakti, you dint succeed in taking me to Lanka. I have been in this place before. It is one of my fav places and thanks to you that one of my ansh will remin in this place forever " (I forgot the name of the place that Mahadev mentions)
Then Gajdhanav is creating havoc in Kasi. Mahadev kills Gajdanav with his Trishul and grants him moksha. Mahadev also saves the life of one rishi during this process.
Precap :
Ravan is very furious. He shouts - " Mahadev aap aap hain aur main bhi Ravan hoon. Aaj mahan bhakth dashanand ka anth hoga aur ...something (I dint hear clearly)... " Ravan bangs the shivling very hard.
It means that we will get to see the evil ravan from tomorrow.
