I don't know, but i thought meenakshi devi and her parents would've said shankara as per my knowlodge shankara means almighty and this name is mostly used by south, and from north its shiva, i maybe wrong but, question is me too after checking it couldn't able to find any clue. Perhaps theres a story too behind taking this name😊
