I was a hard core Star One Fan
but now i love Life OK too
but one reason,perhaps the primary reason why i love them
if for what they did to DKDM
Mythos have always been an integral part of TV
DKDM could have been just another one of them-but Life OK as a channel REALLY stuck its head out for DKDM
which honestly is commendableš
DKDM became a game changer because it was one of the few mytho shows in recent times that (in prime time slot)that gave even run of the mill shows a run of thier money
i know many people are involved
but from my side a BIG KUDOS to LIFE OK TV
DKDM for the first 6 odd months earned a TRP of barely 0.9-0.6
considering the amount of money put in by the producers-not exactly good
High Budget shows(my observation) need to do well in order to survive
Life OK could have just yanked off DKDM
they didnt
infact they nurtured it and gave it the promotion that a show like DKDM deserved!
the vigor with which they promoted DKDM is one of the prime reasons why it got noticed and people watch it today
some people say had DKDM been on star plus(it was supposed to be then got transferred to LO)it may have done better
i disagree,Life OK knew that DKDM had the potential to do well-it needed time and efforts
and sadly many of the TOP GEC's look for immediate results
and if the show is high budget then dont ask-if the show doesnt do well they might as well pull it off air without blinking an eyelid
so on Life Ok's first Birthday,as well as DKDM's first anniversary
a GIANT SIZED THANK YOU to Life OK
for having so much faith in a show like DKDM
