In short
Prabrahman divided into Purusha and Prakriti. Mahadev (the original Mahadev) came from Purusha and Adi Shakti came from Prakriti. Lord Shiva is a part of the original Mahadev and Parvati is a part of Adi Shakti.

Mahakal & Mahakali, Sadashiv & Mahatripursundari, are Original Shiv & Shakti.

This Mahakali is Mahamaya. MahaTripursundri with Sadashiv is Goddess of Shri-chakra.

The paramatma is known as Purusha/Shiva (means not male in gender).

Here male refers to being beyond all worldly things yet lies in all beings and objects/also having no defects i.e pure conscience.

Prakruti/Shakti is feminine in nature(not female in gender).

It is the material power or the exact terms will be a potency or power or weapon of the paramatma in making this material world.

But in our puranas for the sake of better understanding they depict them as masculine and feminine in bodies.

Now everything in this universe earth,animals,trees,humans,objects etc. has both the male and female(above components)in them.

Purusha is also known as 'Sutradhar' and Prakriti is known as 'Nati' means who acts according the sutradhar(who decides what is to be done).These terms are irrespective of human gender.(For eg.take the word Rashtrapati means president,even if a woman holds the chair she will be known as Rashtrapati)

Hence in the cosmic nature the 3 phases creative,preservative and dissolving phases are said to be governed by the supreme viz as Brahma/Saraswati,Vishnu/Lakshmi and Shiva/Parvathi.

One interesting fact - Shivaling has no gender (i.e there is no room for gender in spiritual matters,all are one spiritually).

Infact shivam(pure conscience) is its gender😊

Plz go through my post again,coz I clearly mentioned the difference.

In sanskrit some words have different meanings...

One of them is 'Purusha' which means 1) boy or man in gender

2)Self/atman/pure conscience

Also Sthree

1)Girl or Women in gender

2)Shakti/Prakriti(material world)

Here the second meaning given must be used for both the terms.

There is no one beyond Paramatma call it Shiva/Vishnu/Brahma/Krishna/Devi /Tridevambika/AadiShakti,they are not someone male or female in person.😊

These pictures have been created by person just like us. Its a work of an artist. Now it depends upon how the person who has created these pictures thinks.

If he/she is a devotee of durga maa then he/she may show durga as supreme.
if he/she is devotee as mahadev then shiva will be portrayed as supreme.

each person will glorify the god he likes.

As far as the legend goes the origin of tridev is unknown. we dont know whether they had parents or not.

but as far as adishakti is concenred its said she was born as sati and then as parvati. since shakti is always associated with shiva and not brahmadev or vishnu ji, we consider durga/kali as forms of parvati only.

coz shiva and shakti always goes hand in hand.

have u ever heard of brahma and shakti or vishnu and shakti no ryt?

But in Devi Gita, a Text from Devi Bhagwat, Devi said I am Param Brahman Swaroopni means God in this world. Krishna and SadaShiva are supreme deities but Adi shakti is not a Deity but a concept as "Para Brahman". You may call Radha, Lakshmi, Parvati as Adi shakti but Adi Shakti in reality is Mother. God as Mother.

Let this be more clear...

Paramatma,Purana Puusha,Prathama Purusha,Purushothama,Aadi Mata all these are synonyms of Parabrahma only.There is only one Parabrahma/Parabrahmi say it as you like.

Some worship it as Shiva,some worship as Vishnu or Krishna and some worship it as Jaganmata.

The term 'Parabrahma Swaroopini' (which you used) itself is very clear.

Swaroopini meaning-'Swa' means 'Self' and 'Rupini' means 'form'.

It means some people worship Parabrahma in the form of divine mother.For them Parabrahma's manifestation is in the form of 'Aadi Shakti' or 'Divine Mother'.

In 'VishnuSahsraNam' Vishnu is referred as Parabrahma Swarupa and Shiva also has the same naam 'Paramatma'!

There is no difference btn.Parabrahman and deity,it is the parabrahman which manifests as a deity.

Shivam is Pure Coscience or Supreme(it has no gender),it is the 'suthradhar' as I mentioned earlier or the one behind everything.Purushatwa(soul) is the nature of Paramatma hence Paramatma is also known as Purusha.That is why Krishna said he is Prathama Purusha i.e Parabrahma.

Prakriti is material world which has Shakti(not Aadi Shakti) means forces which run the material world.

In the material world Shakti(life forces) is needed for understanding Shivam.In the absence of Shakti you become 'Shavam'(a state in which your unable to realize the Supreme).But still the supreme is in you.All these forces act according to the Supreme (you may call it whatever you like).

Adding a bit from my side,

As per Devi Puran, once on Mandarachal mount, all the Devas were present. Narad asked Shivji, the Tridev's upasana makes a jeeva reach the ultimate goal, even Indra etc have worshiped the Tridevas to get what they have today. But whom do you 3 pray? Please enlighten us.

Hearing this question, Shivji went in samadhi, had Goddss Paramba's darshan, said The Pure, Eaternal, Prakritiswarupini, Bhagavati Jagadamba is the Para-Brhma, we pray to her. She is formless but takes a form & creats this World, nourishes it, in the end destroys it. She has created Brhma, Vishnu & Shiv & gave them Tridevis to help in their respective work. She is ParaShakti. Aadi Shakti is her active aspect prevailing in the World.

Yes, Devi Puran considers Parabrahman as Goddess Paramba.

Similarly some holy texts consider Paramatman as Lord Shiva or Mahadeva and some Lord Vishnu/Krishna.

Though there is only one Parambika/Parabrahma a 'swaroop' of the formless Paramatma is essential for the sake of worship.Which form we select is upto our choice.
