Upamanyu's story is very interesting.So tomorrow again we are gonna see Mahadev lecturing parvati.Since how long are they going to show a possessive mother who keeps stopping her children from moving forward in their lives?First parvati tried to stop kartikeya and not ashok sundari.That's why she will create Ganapati Bappa who will never leave her.😃

OK- Intial google searches are indeed showing Vyaghrapada as Upamanyu's father.

Vyaghrapada was a great devotee of Lord Nataraja at Chidambaram. His aim was to be to collect as many fresh flowers as possible as an offering to Nataraja. But he was unable to scale the higher slopes of the mountain as his feet could not grip the rocky ledges firmly. Pleased with his devotion, Lord Shiva transformed his human legs into legs of a tiger- so that the sage would be able to climb the rocky slopes without much problem. That's how he got his name (Vyaghra : tiger, pada : legs)

Sage Vyghrapada is highly revered for his Shiva- Bhakti. Truly Upmanayu was a worthy son of a worthy father.

He may not like a SIL like Kartikeya, who refuses to accept Devraj's supremacy😆

If he accepts hi as his SIL, then can boast me & Mahadev both are equal, we are samadhis.

Actually, they are Sambandhis...but Indra, out of gratitude, offers his daughter's hand in marriage to Kartikeya. Not out of spite or jealously as being shown.

DKDM generally retains beginning & end of the story, rest they add their creativity. So it may end as Indra giving his daughter to Kartikeya. He may be shown defated in his tapasya breaking trick, may be Devsena will fall for Kartikeya & marriage will be later on. This kartikeya is teenager, should grow up too.
