The episode begins with Indra praising Karikeya to the skies,praising his abilities,his strengths,and how he will lead the Devtas to victory each time.He says Tarkasurs defeat is pre destined at the hands of Kartikeya. Kartikeya begins to pride his strengths and power.
Parvati is feeding all the Ganas Kheer.The Ganas say that Parvati must be very happy on the success of her son becoming a senapati. Kartikeya is admiring his newly acquired weapons. Parvati lovingly feeds Kartikeya some Kheer and expresses her happiness on seeing him become a senapati. Kartikeya proudly tells her that such moments are yet to come,infact he will win ever war he ever fights and every time his mother will have to celebrate his victory.His bravery and strength will be known all over and no one will be as great a warrior as him. Parvati is stunned and looks at Mahadev who looks upset seeing his sons attitude.
Indra Dev and Company see Tarkasur deep in his tapasya. Indradev is worried about what will Tarkasur gain on completion of his tapasya. Agnidev is worried that it may be used against them.They decide to meet Bramhadev.
Indra Dev and Company approach Bramha Dev for help and ask him not to give Tarkasur any Vardaan.But Bramha Dev refuses saying that on Tarkasur completing his Tapasya he has to be given a reward,its his duty to do so.
Meanwhile Nandi approaches Kartikeya to come for his lessons,Kartikeya refuses saying that now that he is Dev Senapati and he shouldn't waste his time on learning,but should save his skills for his war with Tarkasur.Nandi feels hurt and leaves silently.
Mahadev and Parvati are discussing the change is Kartikeyas behaviour.Parvati is worried that where has her sons softer and gentle personality gone for him to become so arrogant. Mahadev says to test a persons true virtue one should give them endless power and position,sadly very few people still stick to thier duties and do not get arrogant on getting power.Even the brightest people becoming arrogant on getting power and postiion. Such arrogance leads to downfall and nothing else. Kartikeya is filled with the pride of him becoming Senapati of the Devtas.
Nandi arrives and Mahadev asks him about Kartikeya lesson.Nandi is silent as Mahadev realizes what is wrong and storms of to talk to Kartikeya. Nandi and Parvati are worried.
Kartikeya is resting when Mahadev arrives. Mahadev addresses him as "Senapati Kartikeya".Kartikeya gets up and greets his father. Kartikeya expresses his eagerness to fight Tarkasur. Mahadev says the result of thier war is obvious-Tarkasur will win and he will loose. Kartikeya looks stunned,as Mahadev reminds him that he through his knowledge and efforts has become what he is today,but he shouldn't become over confident. Kartikeya says he was earlier unsure of his capabilities,but now he is sure that he can defeat Tarkasur,as he has become completely capable. Mahadev reminds him that knowledge and learning never ever get over,and they day someone stops learning is their day of destruction. Kartikeya doesnt take his advice seriously,and challenges Mahadev to put forward his best warrior to see how much strength and power lies in him. Mahadev is hurt to see his sons arrogance.
Meanwhile Indradev is being taunted by Narad Muniđ,who blames him for all that has happened and says he shouldnt have praised Kartikeya so much to make him arrogant.Indra Dev defends himself and says he was only praising him and he didnt do anything wrong. Bramhadev arrives and scolds his son Indradev saying that if you have nothing knowledgeable to say keep your mouth shutđ¤Ł(Papa Toh Band Bajae Must have been derived from himđ).Vishnu also arrives and says that what Indradev was done is irreparable and has only made matters worse. Indradev offers to set things right,and Narad Muni taunts him again saying youll only make matters worse,and lets the rest on Mahadev.
Parvati is worried for Kartikeya and hopes Mahadev wasnt too hard on him,she knows her son is still young and he is just got a bit influenced. Mahadev arrives and tells Parvati that Kartikeya has become rather arrogant,so much that he has crossed all limits. Parvati is angered and wants to go and talk to him. Mahadev stops her and says his arrogance has given them a solution-as he challenged Mahadev himself,as Parvati looks shocked

Kartikeya and all the Devtas prepare for the war.Meanwhile Trakasur and company also are ready for the war.Shots of the Devta Asurs fighting is shown. Tarkasur asks Bramhadev for a Vardaan that whatever scheme he plans for his war should be unable to be defeated. Voiceover asks how will Kartikeya win over Tarkasur.
