mouni as parvati

I saw only the death of Sati sequence very seriously. Otherwise, Mouni was nice and I thought she would be playing Parvati. But any way, Sona is also not doing bad, its just that the mother sequence was shown very badly.

In a Mytho show correct interpretation of the story & various characters is more important then any actor playing it. It Paravti's character is not portrayed well even if the best actress in the world playes it, the impact is lost.

I think sonarika is doing a great job as parvati. Unfortunately for her the yCV's are making a mess of the character. But what ever she is doing awesome. Loved her as kali and jagatmata and as shakthi.

Yes Moharika look good on screen, but far more important is the fact that they are essaying their respective roles so well we actually feel the divinity through them.

👏I think CV's made a right choice for Parvati and I dont think Mouni wouldnt suit that role coz Sona shaksham parvati lagti hai. Coz her face is so sweet and calm while Mouni is opposite and suits like more like sati and tulsi characters given her personality. Moharika is the best and their jodi is very famous now. After the wedding sequence their popularity is just reaching the roof. I cant imagine anyone else apart from Mohit and Sona doing these roles as they look real parvati and mahadev.

sona is the best choice for parvati..its the cv's who are making a mess with parvati but whenever sona is give some opportunity she shows her talent and moharika just rocks

i totally agree with u...shes very smart n elegant,her persona is very exhuberent n i really feel that mohit has hots for mouni too thats y their chem clicked me!!! love always !

dont tell that mouni wasn't able to play parvati.if she can touch our heart as sati then she would have been a perfect parvati too. So more concentrating on actors we should njoy the show as many of us are doing. And pls every1 dont make any comparision posts. Coz here comparision leads to battle about who is better. Both Mouni and Sona are perfect with their roles and for god sake stop the comparision. When some1 says acha hua mouni ko nai liya vo ache se nai kar pati and all tab kabhi kisine aisa bola ki acha hua sonarika ko sati nai banaya vo nai kar pati. Nai na then stop comparisions and love the characters and show.

for starters like Meenaxi said DKDM isnt about chemistry,it a mythological show and the representation of characters and stories is of primary importance!

I won't comment on Mouni as Parvati or Sonarika as Parvati coz I hv quit the fourm...I will be present here ONLY on Mohit-Mouni posts or Mouni posts or Mohit posts...All I can tell u is that Mouni quit the show and CVs didn't kick her out...in fact, CVs wantd her as Parvati ONLY!! But due to the hectic schedule, to wear the entire get-up for the entire day becomes tiring...

When I went to the DKDM set to meet them, b4 every take, there is no ventilation in the room where the shot is taken...all the actors perspire so that is why they can't take more than 5 dialogues in a go...they spent 45 minutes on one scene!! And then when a fan is switched on, all the actors are sweating and evrythng...in fact, I remember Rishina(the one playing Khyati, Sati's eldest sis) getting rashes on her neck due to the sweat and all that jewellery...Personally, I WANTED to see Mouni as Parvati but b4 I get bashed, I shall stop...

I hope u know now why Mouni quit the show...it wasn't easy to shoot evn one scene on the sets!!
