I think the makers of dkdm are behind this.They don't want to show the media and viewers how mohit and sona are in real life and how's their cameraderie offscreen.Whenever mohit and sona would be interviewed,they would always talk about the scenes and the tracks of the show and never talk anything else.I guess the makers have only told them to do so and probably it's part of their contract.Mouni too was doing the same thing whenever she was interviewed.I agree it's unfair but the actors can't violate their contract too otherwise they will face the same problem Gia faced.

I feel that too, they do not want the leads to interact too much with the media. That is why Sona or Mohit are not seen giving any interviews unlike other shows. They have to maintain their image shown on screen.
