Sati is entirely different from Parvathi. Sati behaved as human and she couldn't attain the detachment to be divine. That is only love for her. But for Parvathi Bhakthi is more. She attained divinity with her bhakthi and their milan is more of spiritual as someone mentioned. I agree ,Shiv and Parvathi are considered as perfect husband and wife ,but in a spiritual way. I read somewhere that only Parvathi can make Rudra from Shiva and Shiva from rudra i.e from Shantham to roudram and vice versa. Such an effect of Parvathi on Shiva. 😊

I can agree with most of what's said here..and can also sympathize with shruti... but like she herself said, it's the show that spoiled us in its earlier phase..The show excelled in romance during Shiva Sati phase (with special credit to the scintillating chemistry between Mohit and Mouni)

The show has become popular with families consisting of young and old, sitting together and enjoying it..People relate it to the Ramayana of their times.. and they feel what applies then should apply here as well..Imagine grandparents sitting with their 10 yr grandchildren (hoping to inspire them to move away from cartoons) watching an overtly romantic darukvan sequence...😳

Personally, scenes like the ones during the maha-vivah like the parda one, searching for the ring in the bowl, kheer one or mahadev eating only 3 morsels from parvati can be included

i disagree with sonairka not knowing any dance. yes she no professional,, but neither is she a novice. i just watched all the sequence and watched each of the pair individually. . both were perfectly graceful. obviously a lot of practice has gone into. the steps were kept simple. but if was executed with finesse. I choreograph myself and i can understand what is substandard and what is not.
And for two people who are not professionals mohit and sona have done an awesome job. and why compare it with mouni .. mouni afterall is a professional dancer.

I agree that they should show some amount of romance between Mahadev and Parvathi. I hope CV's are listening to us.

@ Jayvenk
I agree that they have done a good job. The dance was elegant. Having known that Mouni is experienced dancer, it would be unfair to compare with Sonarika

and regarding the Kuch Kuch ...
SHiv and parvati hardly touch.. we have seen so few moments whre they are physically hugging.. Yet all of us have felt the chemistry between them.
It is easy to show romance if there is physical body is used .
It is very difficult to show devoted love without involving the human body except for the eyes.. if we feel the devotion as viewers then it is a job well executed not just by the lead pair but also by the entire directing team.

During the sati phase most of the story was fictional. and not many know the story. the director had a free hand in depicting it.to the audience.
But shiv and parvati is known the world over.
i agree the physical intimacy between shiv and paro has been written as almost extreme. Shiv used to make love to parvati for years together, not leaving the cave .
But are the Indian audience [ at least the once watching this phase] mature to accept it on television?? Na Indians are a bunch hypocrites. They will watch po*n but will make a hue and cry if shiv and parvati are shown doing something intimate .

i am not asking for a rehash of the Darukvan sequence...to be honest i was as awkward as any of youll!...
i ma asking for some light and cute moments that can be put in just between the occurance of any mythologically relevant event!
i mean this will definately be better than showing Parvati crying and Making Mahadev stop her from crying!-getting me?
for starters i want to see the Lasya dance...in my opinion it was too short,i loved the mucsi, the setting everything-but i want to see that...
Mahadev and Parvati had a relation of equals and i wish we could see more of that!

I have been watching this serial with my in laws and niece and nobody was embarrassed by the darukavan scene...in fact tthey all are Shiv Bakhts, but knew about his love for Parvati, they mentioned in amusing tones about how romantic lord shiva was!!!!!
They are looked upto as ideal couple, who upheld the sanctity of marriage with their eternal romance, passion and fierce devotion for each other and evn in their arguements nd known quarrels they still defended each other!!! Anyways,
The kids in fact watch things on TV that are more objectionable and advanced... Good thing is they are getting curious bout the shudh Hindi being spoken, which they are clueless about!!!
My husband has a distaste for most of the serials on tv but has started watching the show... liked the Kali epi and shiv parvatis interaction and romance...but also said that it will soon become like rest of the serials, as they all start well but soon they all become the same...
If that happens i will l move on to other shows...that's how life is!!!! Till then I will watch and hope !!!!!!

shruthi as every one .said ...mahadev reached the family drama status .in life ok ..so shiv parvati is shown as more spiritual than materialistic ...

even in the journey of atma ...in human form physical involvement is more for any action reaction ...were in Sutchma form physical involvement is not needed they are like ,more or less equal to our dream state ...so with out much activity ...just by thinking or dreaming we can attain our desired objects (even child/food /flowers/etcetc)...our atma is supposed to travel such lokhs when it attained certain good deeds ...so that its is totally free from materialistic earth.../
when it comes to shiv and parvati ...they are much higher than human life style ...what they have shown is not totally wrong !!

but as said by u the viewers are mere humans ,the cv's must consider their mind level before landing on spiritual concepts alone ...during these sequence 's ...

arre baba!!!!i not saying at all that what they showed was wrong!
Oh God!why is everybody misunderstanding me😆...
i liked yesterdays sequence very much and i love the enriching coversations-i guess that is one reason why DKDM works...the conversations and the spiritual level of undertsnading is beautifully shown
i am saying cant we have some nice and cute moments in between as well...some how to complement what they show?...
