finally saw the epi...

well show wise it was good...

But...I found it to pfilmy...

the rituals were today's...and why was Vishnu doing that ritual...while parvati has brothers off her own...by showing us this what is the MSG cv's try to give...that Vishnu as a bro has more rights then the real bro...or Cv's couldn't afford 2 new actors...

ooohhh although Sonarika looked pretty...I so wish cv's would change the model off her dresses...they are becoming boring...or me is missing the sexy clothing off mouli...

^^^^ Vishnu Bhaiyya has been the most confused aspect of this serial. On one hand, he is in the baraati party and decks up the groom, and more often shows up on the groom's side. He doesn't do any of the duties of the brides side, such as fetching the groom. OTOH, he gets the privileges of a brother, w/o having any of the duties. Could this depiction be any more lame?

im in the 1000th heaven ...ha ha!!!

I was so so happy when Maina asked ShivJi to come in his normal avataar-even my mom said,ShivJi doesnt look like ShivJi without his jaata,tiger skin etc!

btw-Srusthi you are not the only one who found that Mahadev getting pearls from the sea part funny...i found it too[=))}...if you notice Parvati isnt wearing a SINGLE pearl in her bridal attire!...saare pearls kahan gaye...?

but leaving that one pointer everthing else was awesum..

the part where ShivJi embraces parvati from behind...like awww...cho chweet...also the small smiles they kept on giving each other...

kudos to the team,they made it look like the REAL wedding-Real ShivJi and Parvati Maa must be super happy...

Sona looked very pretty...cant wait for the Saat Vachan!!!

Yesterday's episode was the best.😛😛...it was so magnificeint and divine 👏...that iam still in seventh heaven..😳😳...Shiv and Shakti finally uniting foir eternity..😳😳...and awww...so sweet of Shivji .😳😳..he actually went to gather jewels for his wife.😳😳...awww...and i loved Mainavati that she finally understood who Lord Shiva is and how lucky she is to have a bridegroom like him...😃😃...yes the marriage ceremony was grand 😳...i was bowled over especially how Mahadev was staring at Parvati.😳😳.thr was so much love and tenderness in his eyes..😳😳...and Yes i dont know wether you all know it or not but he..i.e mahadev was not embracing her from behind i mean yes in a way he was but it was not just out of Love😊...it is a custom which has been present in weddings from the earliest times and nowadays it is prevalent in the east indian weddings.😛...(i know coz iam from orissa and this custom was thr in my Did's marriage as well😃) . This custom is known as Khaipora in Orissa and in hindi one can interpret it as aahuti of puffed rice..😊😊...since the bride is considered to be annapurna...or Laxmi..😳..she gives the Aahuti of puffed rice to the agni which means thr will never be scarcity of rice / food in the house which is going to be mine till iam thr..😃...the puffed rice is given to the bride's hand by her brother...thats why vishnu ji did it😃...literal meaning thr will be never be any lack of prosparity or scarcity of food in my house😃 and since groom or men are the bread winners and bride and groom share thier responsibilities😊😊 the brides hand while offering Aahuti is supported by the groom which he holds from behind..and it does look like an embrace😳😳...it is a must custom and in my Didi's wedding ,my poor jijaji was all shy.😳😳..poor thing couldnt hold didi from behind to support her hands in this custom..😳...he had to be pushed... 😆😆😆...This custom is shown in Devdas as well...and a lot of pther movies too like Madhuri Dixit's debue movie "Abodh"

P.S and about Lord Vishnu...doing the duties of the brother of bride well...i didnt see any brother of Parvati from the day she was born nor even a reference of wether she has a brother in real or not ...so wats the big deal wen he gives the puffed rice to Parvarti for the aahuti...

Wonderful episode. 👏 I am happy that Maina asked Shiva to go back to his original form. Loved that he paid no heed to the curse. Though I guess they are going to use this element as the "explanation" for all troubles that happen in Mahadev-Parvati's life in the future. 🤔

Maybe Durvasa should curse Nandi and stop his crying and whining. For goodness' sake will he never stop?

Kinda funny to see Rohini performing rituals instead of say, Ganga. Oh well. I wonder if the actor playing Chandra has left the show or is he taking a break? He should have been here.

In fact where is Arundhati for that matter, not to mention Sukarn?

So they didn't skip over the Shiva's lineage issue. Good. I thought that scene with Atri playing the father's role was the end of it. Thankfully it wasn't.

I still say they should have shown the story about Agastya. 🤓

I do think they should have completed the entire wedding ceremony in one episode rather than splitting it between the Maha Episode and a regular one. They could have done this by covering the "Shiva disappears from Himavan's palace" bit in an earlier episode (or an extra episode on Saturday) or by extending the Maha Episode by half an hour. It just feels odd to have the ceremony split like that, sort of ruins the moment.

It varies from one place to another and from one community to another in the subcontinent. They just picked one and ran with it.

Parvati has no brothers on this show. This is very clear. For whatever reason, the creatives chose to have Himavan having only daughters (though where were all the other daughters that were referred to earlier on the show? If Ganga could attend the wedding despite becoming a river, why not the others?).

Vishnu being Parvati's brother (or brother-like) has basis in the scripture and beliefs, etc. I think they wanted to emphasize this aspect a lot more and maybe that's why they eliminated Himavan's sons from the story. 😳

I guess the creatives will continue to remain confused about Vishnu's role on this show. 😆

and if the Cv's want to empathise it...well then every objective thinking person will not empathise with it...say: Moi... and I most say I am missing the mythological aspect (these day's) in this saas bahu saga uff lobe story...

our lovely Crybaby or should I say Cry bull...well normally this task is for the female lead and as Shivji has already been assigned the task off the bahu who dresses up...Cv's can't afford to make him cry...wont go with "the image".so Nandi got this task added to his character...balancing the characterisation off a saas bahu saga...

Haha really? Maybe I missed it or forgot about it. That does create a plothole. Why couldn't they have split the brother's duties between Mainak and Vishnu? Problem solved.

LMAO they really have gone full-on saas-bahu drama recently, even the bit about the lead(s) turning around to realize the family members are there listening to them (privacy gayi tel lene) 😆
