mahashivratri is primarily celebrated cos its the day of Mahadev and Parvatis marriage!

Guys,Mahashivratri was already shown in da serial.In da serial when Chandra got rid of Daksh's curse due 2 Shiv,dat day was celebrated as Shivratri.

Actually as far as i know,Shivratri is mainly celebrated bcoz Shiv and Parvati got married dat night.But Triangular Films Puran has already given one more reason 4 celebration of Shivratri.😆

Dadhichi's wife is presumably trapped w/ the devas in his ashram, so it would be surprising if she could make it. Lakshmi, as I said, would be on the bride's side due to Narayan being Parvati's bro, as per this story. But the rest of them you're right - they could have loaned Saraswati, Khyatti, Aditi and Kashyap's other wives like Diti, Vinati, Kadru and so on, as well as Chandra's 27 wives. In fact enough women to be a dance partner to each of the ganas. 😆

Isn't the wedding going to be a weekend Maha-episode, or will it happen next Friday?

@Vrish-the baarat is Comming next friday!!!and everyone knows all the drama after that so most likely the wedding will be after that!im guessing maybe a special episode!

@subha-TFC isnt exactly wrong in showing that story for Shivratri!its one of the stories related to Mahashivratri-infact if you see Shivratri as a day was established on Chndra getting a boon from Shiva!

it became Mahashivratri on Mahadev and Parvatis wedding!

Thanks, not to worry about the food, they already have Annapurna's patra with them, which can also give other dishes. May be nanimaa's sewak will be surprised at the way things are handled, chaos first then some interesting outcome in form of something happening for the first time.

Did Shivratri exist b4 Parvati's marriage? I thought that it came into existence as a result of that. Telling them that Parvati would get married on Shivratri is like telling Rama that Ravana would be killed on Dushera, or that Rama would return to Ayodhya on Deepavali. 😆

For the precap, please don't tell me that Mahadev will look @ the stove the way he looked @ Kamadev, & set off a barbeque 😆

Vrish, when I started CNAT, I thought this thread will get closed on the 2nd day, but it's still going on, can't help it now, you have to bear with it, view Mythology in a different perspective😆

from Shivji's side Arundhati should be shown now, some one who can answer Parvati's nani.

Shiv ratri comes twice every month. But the biggest among them is this one coming in Maha month as per Hindu calender, that's why it is called Maha-Shivratri. Other resons being Shivji-Parvati's marriage, Chandra's curse removal etc.

Mahadev will telll Nandi to use the Akshaya Patra given by Parvati, their food problem will be solved😃

These will go on till 3rd Aug. Oh yes there will be other rasams too, like Haladi, Mahendi etc. Arudhati should be shown like the Shiv Puran story from Shivji's side, whom this mommy, nani pair will have to listen.

About Shivji's gotra etc, I am expecting a good explanation from CVs at the time of marriage.

If you can get someone to translate those CNAT works into Sanskrit, then centuries from now or even less, our names will go down along w/ the likes of Vyasa, Valmiki and all the ancient composers of the various scriptures 🤣 Maybe we should wait until Babelfish supports a Sanskrit translation engine? 😆

If they show mehendi, sangeet & mangal-sutra, I'll say that they've completely lost it, and CNAT will look like quality work in comparison. It's already looking pretty good 😆

Can they import the fictitious Vijaya from the Sati era to handle Parvati's nani? Or is her contract up?

On a more serious note, why isn't Ganga @ the wedding? In the original, I understand that she was very much a part of that wedding.
