nataraj mahadev acted 10 avtaars of vishnu..but in that dance drama he told only 9 avtar's story

matsya , kurma , varaah, nrisingha , baman , parashuram , raam , krishna and kalki..

so where is the 10th one?? (i think its lord Vudha..the 9th one)

or did i miss anything??..help me..

ya LORD BUDDHA that is also considered as 9th avtar and after that kalki comes. But some specialists denies that buddha was a vishnu avtar becoz he left his family in the search of moksha which is against theory of KARMA. Instead of dat you can count mohini.

Mohini can't be called one of da avatars of Vishnu.

I too noticed it,dere were only 9 avatars shown today.I was wondering why didn't dey show Buddha's avatar.Probably it's a blooper.

Why can't Mohini be considered an avatar of Vishnu? Like Kurma, Mohini was a form Vishnu took in this project so that the asuras could be hoodwinked. As Kurma, Vishnu supported the mountain, and after the churning was done and Garuda took it away, Kurma's job was over, and Vishnu then assumed the form of Mohini when the devas & asuras started fighting over the amrit.

Sargesh is right - there is a debate on whether Lord Buddha was an incarnation of Vishnu.

Actually Budha is named as the 9th Avatar in Srimad bhagwat Mahapuran of lord vishnu but because Budha started another religion I think that was the start of the controversy. Mohini is an avatar but a part of 24 avatars

From my childhood i just heard ,Mohini or Balram is one among the 10 avators of Vishnu .Its a vital shock for me ,for the first time ,when i heard that Buddha too included in that 10 no list from one of my North Indian friend

There are some other Incidents in Buddha's life remsembles his connections with Lord vishnu .

They said during his adherent penance once the clouds poured strong rain showers upon him ,but to all the other 's surprise a Five headed serpent appears above his head to protect him .(since serpent with more than one head is always accompanied with Lord Vishnu ) .

Like that once a mad elephant tries to attack him ,he just stopped it by his single gaze .

But according to Buddhist records the Jataka tales that are given from the perspective of Buddha's previous lives (as well as the previous lives of many of Buddha's followers), Krishna appears as one of the lives of sariputra , one of Buddha's foremost disciples and the "Dhammasenapati" or "Chief General of the Dharma" and is usually shown being Buddha's "right hand man" in Buddhist art and iconography. The 'divine boy' Krishna as an embodiment of wisdom and endearing prankster forms a part of worshipable pantheon in Japanese Buddhism

As some one specifies about karmic debuts ,Buddha never leaved his wife and son in half a way.

He returned to his kingdom after 12 or 14 years from his departure as a enlightened soul.

So his young son asked him to stay with him ,he refuses that by saying Not only u is my son ,but i have millions of them ,i have been here (earth) to show them the highly valuable eternal truth .

The little prince Rahul checkmated his father asking him. If am also one among them ,why cant u show that way ! this impressed Buddha very much .hence he allowed to him to become his follower by joining his sanga .It is said that yashodara the wife of Bhuddha's trained her son to ask these questions wisely before his father .Like that Later his foster mother ,wife and many other jointly started mutts for Female nuns . So He never betrays any one . But opened the gate way for higher level of human life to every one with out considering caste or creed .He is the first invoice protester to oppose caste system and spread unity among people.

People who are bound by rituals and rules hates him ,tries to murder him .But he stands still .He introduce the process of mediation to commoners.I.e is something like giving Amrit to danavas in vedic cultured people's POV.😆 So he received all the bitter experience from their side .

So considering him as one of the prime avator of vishnu really amused me a lot 😆

Because Hinduism is the main reason for vanishing the quotes of Bhuddha in India .

Just go through this http://ww-iii.tripod.com/hindu.htm u will definitely feel 😆 How Kalki avatar of Vishnu will descent in full form to Shoo...all the Buddhist form earth it self .😆
