Okay, w/ all the IPL teams except DD so far knocked out of the Champions league, time for some cricket here. Let's resume.

Mahadev & Parvati are sitting at the LPL owners box of a game b/w PP and GG.
In course of their conversation, Parvati tells Mahadev that if anyone came to her w/ any boon request, she'd w/o thinking say 'tathastu' 😆
Ganga overhears this and sends Kartikeya to the commissioner telling him to ask Parvati for uninterrupted victory in all matches this season.
Sati too hears the same thing and sends Nandi on the same mission
Both ask Parvati for the same boon, and like she said, she, w/o thinking, says 'tathastu' to both for the same boon 😆
Mahadev smiles jokingly and asks her what the outcome of this match would be, given what she's promised? 😈
Parvati realizes what she's gotten into, but smiles back @ him and says - no result.
Mahadev asks her - how can there be no result? If the 2 teams are level, either D/L will come into play, or we'll have a super over, or even a bowl-out.
Parvati says that regardless, even tossing a coin wouldn't resolve the issue. 😆
The match b/w PP and GG starts. Mahadev, in order to teach Kartikeya a valuable lesson about his pre-war arrogance, challenges him to bowl out the fat & cheerful gana (dunno his name). That gana opens the batting.
Kartikeya bowls out his 4 overs, w/o managing to take that gana's wicket. He started w/ some slow deliveries, and not managing to get the wicket, went for some really fast ones, but they were too much for his keeper Agastya, and a few of them went for boundaries.
From the other end, Markandeya just grafted his innings along, and at the first Maxx-Mobile time-out, after 8 overs, GG were 70 for no loss.
Kama-dev however came to the rescue w/ a bout of spin, and removed both the openers. The team is totally pumped up.
Vayu comes to the crease and hits another quickfire innings. Kartikeya drops a few catches of him, as Mahadev looks @ him mocking his arrogance.
Sati tells Mahadev - look after your own team. Kartikeya is PP's responsibility i.e. Himavan's.
Finally, Kartikeya salvages the day by getting Vayu's wicket, but a lot of damage has been done. GG was 150 for 3
Veerbhadra & Lakshman take the last 4 overs, and manage to concede just 15 runs. GG ends up w/ 165/7
PP's turn to bat. Shilpi & Ashwin2 open the innings.
Both fall cheaply to Tarakaksh, who bowls a real barrage of Yorkers that send both openers to the pavilion.
Agastya comes in @ #3 and decides to play a sheet anchor role.
Kartikeya comes in @ #4, and lofts a ball high, deciding to send it out of the park. However, the fat gana opener, who blocked him earlier, catches him off the bowling of Vayu, and he is out.
Veerbhadra then comes in to bat, and starts whipping the ball all over the park
Nataraja runs out Agastya who was trying to take a 3rd run, despite Veerbhadra saying no.
Kamalaskh joins Veerbhadra and hits a quickfire 53. Veerbhadra makes 55.
Mahakal runs out Veerbhadra, while Kamalaskh gets stumped by Markandeya off Vayu
Both teams end level @ 165/7, and the game enters a super over.
Kartikeya's confidence shot, Kama & Lakshman are given to bowl
Both manage to concede only 11 runs in their 2 overs and remove 2 wickets of Vayu and Shani, so that they didn't have to bowl 12 balls.
PP's turn to bat - Kartikeya sends in Veerbhadra & Lakshman
Vayu gets rid of Lakshman in the first over by a deceptive delivery, and PP get nervous and send in Agastya.
Agastya bats out the remaining balls of the over w/o taking any runs. As a result, 9 runs are needed of the second over, which is given to Lakshman.
Veerbhadra hits 6.
Veerbhadra hits a ball and wants 2, but Agastya causes it to be 1
Agastya blocks the next 2 balls, and takes a single of the 5th ball of the over
2 balls to win, 1 to tie
Lakshman bowls one to Veerbhadra. He hits it fast, but Nandi manages to stop it, and throws it back. They complete 1 run, but while they are doing the second, Nandi aims it @ Agastya's end & breaks his stumps.
Game tied. Parvati smiles @ Shiva w/ a 'I told ya so' 😆
Veerbhadra is Man of the Match. Both captains get to sign the ball.
Ganga is really excited at her team preventing a loss despite Kartikeya's wretched form. Sati is thrilled that PP, which looked far stronger on paper than GG, was held to a tie.
Parvati too relieved that now, the boon that she granted can come true w/o any complications. 😆

For now, I'm just using Champions' League sponsors - haven't thought this one through. Lakshmi & Kubera can't sponsor 8 teams 😆

Incidentally, as you know, LifeOK is/was one of the sponsors of CSK, so maybe we can make CSK a sponsor of GG? 😆

Any other sponsorship ideas for the other teams, or the various contests, like the super 6, the greatest catch & so on?
