- While Mena storms out of the room, Nani notices that Lakshmi is missing and demands to know where she is. Himavan tells her that he has no idea, since she wasn't w/ Vishnu when he left them.
- Nani then demands that Lakshmi be summoned. Mahadev senses all that, and tells Lakshmi that as a result of Vishnu becoming Parvati's bro, she belongs to the bridal side and is wanted @ the palace. Lakshmi wonders how the Ganas will manage, but Mahadev insists that she leave
- Lakshmi goes to the palace and is upset w/ Nani, but Nani reminds her that Vishnu made Parvati his sister, so she is Lakshmi's nanand, so Lakhmi's duties are here, not there. Lakshmi looks @ Himavan & Parvati, but they are tongue tied 😆
- Lakshmi asks what she should do, and Nani tells her to take over the haldi ceremony of Parvati. Lakshmi agrees, seeing how happy Parvati is.
- The Ganas are now lost again since Lakshmi left mid-way, but Saraswati appears and takes over the rest. She explains the whole process to them, and the Ganas understand.
- The Ganas and the womenfolk there viz Chandras wives, etc start decorating the place. Mahadev is thrilled by it all and announces that any human being who sets foot there would become a woman. The ganas are overjoyed. 😆
- Charki arrives there and asks Mahadev to broaden the scope to cover devas. Mahadev readily agrees.
- Taki on hearing this decides to let the devas accompany Nandi to the baraat. The devas arrive there, and as soon as they set foot in Kailash, they become some beautiful apsaras 🤣
- Chakri is overjoyed and asks Indra to be his date to the wedding. Sachi arrives there, and she's unaware of Shiva's announcement. So Chakri tells her that Indra & the devas are jealous of her beauty and have taken the form of apsaras, which is irreversible.
- Sachi is furious and slaps Indra, and tries to storm out of there. However, Rohini & Rati persuade her to stay, telling her that she'd regret it forever if she missed this wedding of a lifetime.
- In the meantime, Vritra goes to Dadhichis ashram, but doesn't find the devas there. He checks back w/ Taki who e-mails him from his iPad from Mataka Anand's entourage, and finds that the devas have all become apsaras, and there is a wide choice of women to choose from. Taki tells him to go and join them
- Vritra is initially hesitant, saying that he doesn't want to become a female. Taki tells him that it only covers humans and was expanded to devas, but asuras are exempt. He tells him that Chakri is already after Indra, but he had choices of Kama, Surya, Agni & Vayu all in their female forms.
- Vritra goes ahead and joins the baraat. He decides to pick on Kama. Rati tries to prevent him claiming that Kama is hers, but Vritra tells her that alternate lifestyles are Shiva virodh, and can't be allowed here. 😆 Rati is sad again, and joins Sachi and Sanjna.
- The devas/devis are now wanting Vishnu to pull them out of this, but Vishnu & Lakshmi are now on full time duty @ Himavan's palace, attending to all of Parvati's needs. Brahma alone sees their predicament.
- Brahma asks Shiva about this, but Shiva tells him that it's his son who's supposed to kill Taki, and so the devas are irrelevant here. He tells them that only an ashwamedha yagna performed by Indra will restore him his masculinity, and that of the other devas as well.
- Mahadev & Parvati got married w/ all pomp & ceremony. Everybody was happy, except the devas.
- After a year, Indra gave birth to a son for Chakri, who in return helped him perform the yagna & get back the masculinity of him & the devas. The name of this son was Indrasura. Kama too gave birth to a son for Vritra, and that son's name was Kamasura.
- Indra & the devas were happy to get back their forms, and in return, handed over Indrasura & Kamasura to Chakri & Vritra.
- Since Indrasura & Kamasura were raised in the company of the ganas, they had all the wisdom & piety of the Ganas, despite being devasuras. Chakri & Vritra asked Shiva to grant them the boon that they will be the intellectual brainpower for the next 1,234,567,890 kalpas. Mahadev agreed.
- Chakri & Vritra returned to Devalok. Indra realized that he still didn't have his kingdom, and wasn't much better off than when he was an apsara 😆
Disclaimer: the above story was inspired by the story of Raja Ila, which is described in the Uttarkand of the Ramayan. The part about Mahadev enchanting the Sharavan forest w/ such a boon is exactly what caused him to become a woman, and reverse that thru a yagna. I borrowed the same idea, but substituted Indra in place of Ila 😈🤣
