What about tapasya? How can they not show it. I am sure acceptance means something else here

Tapasya will be shown, here acceptance means he will accept her as his would be wife, but will wait for her to compelete her penance & may even guide her, like Naradji had asked him to be her Guru. Atleast these articles are quite entertaining.😆

But this is a very unusual concept. Normally, whenever anyone did tapasya, they did it to access someone who was not otherwise accessible. Like Ravan, Mahishashur, Mahishi, Vishwamitra and several others doing tapasya to attain Brahma, and after several thousand years, Brahma came. Similarly for those who did tapasya for Mahadev & Narayan, or when Arjun did it for first Indra and then Mahadev. If they could access these deities easily, they would have, w/o bothering w/ tapasya. The reason they did tapasya was that these deities were normally beyond their reach, and pleasing them would entice them to be more accessible to them, as it were.

In this track, the same would be true about Parvati wrt Mahadev. The reason Parvati is doing this tapasya in the first place is to access Mahadev, who she lost after Kama's destruction. Since he left that abode and she couldn't just stalk him, she took the tapasya route, and after 3000 years, Mahadev was satisfied and came to her.

Here, if Mahadev is her 'guru', then it seems like a very redundant exercise: Mahadev will be guiding her on how to ultimately attain himself? If Mahadev is right next to her, Parvati has got what she wants and can simply ask. It's like you want to go to the nearest post office to mail something, but while going, you bump into a postman. Does it make sense to have him walk w/ you to the post office, or wouldn't you rather just give him your parcel? I understand the PH is inserting its 'creative interpretation', but like in other serials b4, they are totally losing the religious significance of why Parvati did what she did.

Actually this quite true... why would anyone do penance if the diety is acessible...i have confusion as for hoe many years parvati did penance as in some versions it is few years...also how himavan and his wife survived for 3000 yrs.its agreeble that parvati had gone ageless due extreme spiritual disciple but how were Menavati and himavan ageless

As I said earlier these articles are quite entertaining. They have provided 10 pages of entertainment😆
If we take them seriously & try to make sense out of it, so many variable will be found out. Even they don't give compelete info about the storyline because they want the viewer's to watch to know what exactly will happen. As there is no head or tail in this article as per the Purana's story it's better to watch the epi. Things will be clear. Till then happy guessing😆

Life span of people in Satyuga used to be much more compared to other Yugas. So it's higly possible they were alive for much longer period. You can check "Time The Yuga Calculation" in WU/VU, knowledge archive on pg 2, under Important topics.

Please do elaborate! I've never heard that story! Where is it from?

It's in Devdutt Pattanaik's 7 secrets..to demonstrate why Mahadev is known as Bhole Baba as he is beyond societal norms and doesn't consider what is socially proper/improper.. It's the story of how Ravan gets married to Mandodari. When Ravan asks for Parvati from Mahadev..he grants him his wish. But Parvati outsmarts Ravan by turning a frog ('Manduka') into a beautiful woman and presenting her as Parvati ..this is none other Mandodari..Ravan happily gets married to her thinking it is Parvati.

Another version of this is found in the story of Ravan asking for the Atma Linga from Mahadev..here's the wiki link to the story-

There are quite a lot of versions of this story..😕
