Thanks a lot for the update Sia.

I haven't watched the episodes for the past week. I've got to catch up again...

I thought it was easier for Parvati to learn all the household work while in the ashram when her mother has to take care of everything. As far as I recollect from this series, Himavan did not leave any attendants for Mena nor did the Rishis arrange for it. Why does Parvati have to undergo training in the palace. She could have easily taught her daughter household work while in the ashram rather than beginning her training in the palace.

I wish they had shown a teenage Parvati playing with Jaya and Vijaya, learning all the fine arts and discussing their futures.

As usual, Lord Vishnu seems the only one to know what's going on.

I wish they get back to the real story soon. And why is Tarakasur still in the underworld? I was expecting him to have conquered the heavens by now...

This series is becoming like one of the animated children stories that puts in lots of imaginative stories.

I agree w/ Himavan - it seemed too early to teach Parvati when she was a little girl how to be a housewife. Another thing - in Shiva's abode, was it ever Parvati who did any cooking? I always thought that that was something Nandi and the Ganas did. Actually, since they all live in the Himalayas, Parvati should have been asked to make ice cream 😆

I don't think anyone cooked there. Since they were living like ascetics, they would have had fruits, roots, berries, leaves, nuts, etc. and Parvati perhaps didn't have the need to cook - she could have created food with her powers by the time she was married to Lord Shiva.

As far as I know, the ganas did not cook either - they weren't human and didn't need cooked food.

In case, Parvati had to cook, she had help - Jaya and Vijaya went with her as her companions. I wonder what happened to them after that.

Ice cream is really a good idea in the Himalayas 😆

So they showed the leap in which Parvati and her 2 friends grow up. One thing I don't get - when Parvati was @ the ashram, she'd always be wearing her shoes, but now, she seems to be barefooted even in those cold outdoors? Or was it just this time, since she was on her way to do a puja?

I'd like to have a closer look @ Jaya & Vijaya, and hope that they don't turn out to look more attractive than Parvati. 😈

I too wanted to know more about Jaya and Vijaya. All I know is that they went along with Parvati as her companions after the wedding.

@ Vibhishana, Jaya & Vijaya gave Parvati, idea of having her own Gana, who will listen to her only, which resulted in Ganesgji's birth.
They are also part of Parvati's Chinnmasta form's story.
