And the serial went into fast forward shortly after the wedding (basically after Sati left Daksha's city). I think the first few episodes after the wedding were from the old writers (already shot before they left) and we are now seeing the work of the new ones. The question is: why are the new writers in such a hurry? Do they find Sati's boring story and want to get to what they considering more interesting? Or was this change dictated by the channel/producers (and that's why the old team was replaced)?

Hmmm.

Or maybe it's Surendra Pal who wants to leave early. Who knows.

generally when a team of writers is replaced they are transferred to another upcoming show on the channel!Life Ok at present has 4 of such shows...its generally done so that the new shows get some support for the initial episodes

but yes as you said we may never know why they are doing it...i suspect the channel wants to keep the ratings of DKDM intact by introducing the track so that they dont loose out on the current good ratings the show has...DKDM is one of the ONLY shows in the league of DABH etc which hasnt been harshly affected by the ratings...infact surpise suprise the show is -*Shiv Ji ki Kirpa Hai!* is doing well!...the Sati track will be built up this week and the following week,and the highest point of Satis track-Dakshas head being cut off etc will be put forth once the IPL gets over-i guess they are implementing it now so that the show has a constant audience-with the amount of twists and turns the show is having right now the ratings will be going good even once the IPL get over...generally beacuse of the gap that happens in TV viewing due to the IPL,many shows however well they are doing sink in ratings and ultimately get pulled off air...this track has been introduced so that the viewers stay hooked during this litmus test period...

if you see it as a business DKDM is a what we call a "cash cow",Life Ok will do anything to keep it where it is!...i guess its a business strategy..the guy heading Life Ok is a alumi of IIM-he wont be an idiot to do so...and i am expecting this to work...

Shruti, I agree that it makes sense from business perspective. Irrespective of what some people say, the devotees of Lord Ram are numerous. I am sure that the viewership of DKDM must have increased a lot when Lord Ram trac was introduced. Many viewers would have glued to their TV sets just to get a glimpse of Lord Ram even if the track was only for a few minutes. We should not consider only the viewers who are members of India Forums.

However, I wish they would have done it in a more proper way. It seems strange to show that Sati had to go to future but her actions affected her in present. Simply saying that there is no past, present, future for Adi Shakti does not make things much clear - it still leaves people confused. Anyway, somehow this problem is not as big as another problem. That other problem is rushing things. First they spent so many episodes to get Shiv and Sati married. They even introduced many stories from their own imgination. Now suddenly they are ending Sati's track like a bolt from the blue.

The current writer Mihir Bhuta is from stage. He wrote Chanakya, the play. That's why this drama factor has increased after the wedding. But this is not going with the original flow. His stupid tricks to add twists is like other fiction shows, which is killig the image of the characters build up so well till now.

thats the point na?...all of us knew this track had to come some day or the other-they are doing it clumsily,just running to finish it!...and its almost ruining the effect that the track ideally should have had!

The original writers should be brought back. The way they are moving I doubt they will do proper justice to Parvati's story too. They will mess it up with their dramatic twists.

1st of all Mahadev did'nt said that They did'nt consider Sati as his wife They only said that Sati is not capable enough to become complete Adi Shakti for now bcoz She has the Five Human Nature in her that is Lobh, Moh, Maya etc... And also Sati did got Sati in yagya fire bcoz she can't bear the insult of his Husband which only happened bcoz She has the human mentality in her still and She was not able enough to control his human feelings. That is why in the Start Mahadev refuse to Marry bcoz they wanted to prepare Sati capable enough to become Shakti but it did'nt happened. Goddess Parvati was the last Birth of Devi Shakti

@Meenaxi U r absolutely right as the Cv's has taken sudden u turn of Sati's track i too doubt they wl able to do proper justice to parvati's story and now the querry arises who wl play the role of sati it wl more tough to attract viewers if they cast someone else as parvati except Mouni...
