Pandit Bhavani Shankar

Life OK's mythology show, Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev (Triangle Film Company) has managed to strike the right chords with the masses. And in the show, the character of Sati (Mouni Roy) is all set to come to an end😭, which will mark the entry of Parvati. Now, the makers are raking their brains to make the exit sequence of Sati replete with excitement and drama.

We have learned that famous singer, composer and lyrist, Pandit Bhavani Shankar, who has mesmerized the audience world over with his soulful renditions, has been signed to sing a tandav song in the serial.

"Pandit Bhavani has already recorded the song yesterday (1 May 2012)," informed a source.

As per the plot, Shiva (Mohit Raina) will perform tandav nritya (dance) after learning about Sati's death. In the coming episodes, viewers will see the entry of Parvati and the show will take a new turn.

We contacted Mohit Raina about the tandav sequence and he said, "I have no idea about it but thanks to you guys for informing me about the tandav scene for I have to get ready for it now."

We also got in touch with producer Nikhil Sinha and he confirmed the development.

But Sati's character is beautifully depicted and I suppose that is what is making us sad; Sati and Shivji had a long married period- at least some could be depicted- was it not during their discourse that a number of arts took shape?

Its a beautiful character and it is really sad/ I agree. It was a sad chapter in the eternal journey of Shiv and Shakti. They should have shown happy married life a little more. They should have shown sati shakti realization.

But cmon guys open your hearts to Godess Parvati😊

They are really messing up with the time period in this show. Till they saw eachother & got married must have tken a years time in the real story, then they lived happily for 10000 years. They get Tarakasur from Parvati's time & show during Sati's time. Their happy married lifeof 10000 years is shown as the period of not so happy married life in just 10 to 12 epi, showing her end has arrived so soon.

How they expect us to accept it? Sati's story, character with showing human limitation, which is no so in the real story, was liked a lot got me excited too. Accepting her character's sudden end is not going well with me. With such depiction of Devi Shakti's characters, they will have to really convince me well for Parvati. Hope Shivji & devi Shakti gives them sadbuddhi to show it well.

@meenakshi-i dont think anyone will be able to digest it if they show it so soon...it will be really strange...even though Daksh cursed Shiva,he and Sati still had a happy married life for a long time!...im failing to understand why they are rushing it!

I am sure you would have got this info from a very valid source, but I would like to believe this version of the story which is believable than 1000 years of married life which might be true but not believable

Well the fact is it is said Sat and Shiv had a very long 10000 year Married life. However there is nothing much to show in between as there is no detailed description of such a long married life.
if they have to prolong it they have to fictionalize it. As we have fictionalized accounts have not gone down well with audience ( that's the reason they dropped them i guess).

already there has been a lot of mess with respect Rishi Kashyap, Bhrigu etc etc who are being shown as stooges of daksh. its better that we can get rid of these characters ( especially the much hated daksh and his Shiv Ninda) and can only look forward to shiv and shakti story, i am very happy on that front
