I always wanted to see Dash Mahavidyas during Sati's time. Hope finally they will be shown properly now. They are just mentioned today. Instead of making a seperate thread for Mahavidyas have got this only back, as I had refered to different books & sources while making this thread.

@ ramki1, thanks. 10 Mahavidyas are my favourite, knowing more about them is an exciting experience, so just shared the info I had.
@ rimi, Parashakti is also the formless Shakti which took form of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari in the bginning of creation. She is Para Brhman.
Aadi Shakti & Adya Shakti are same. Only some languages use Aadi & some Adya for Ma Durga, as this is the form popular form of the Primordial Shakti.
Goddess's various forms are her Shaktis, who appear to accomlish different tasks.

Thanks Minaxi🤗
now another question...Aadi Shakti is referred as Ma Durga and she is given to Mahadev as his consort. So her nine different forms which are known as Navdurga are too the part of 10 Mahavidyas???What are they doing???
