hmm..u have a point...I think she is more concerned about the pride and honor of the kingdom rather than Sati

but indirectly she is helping Sati to become the wife of shiv though it is unknown to her as well

agreed now its her turn to be a good mother...

my mother will always quote that, "though a mother have several children she care's everyone in the same way.."...like that prasuti must take responsibility for sati's settlement in good manner like her other daughters...

since daksha having a habit of giving his daughter wholesale to all rishis. we can't expect anything from him
