HIs marriage Ceremony is celebrated in a Temple called Thiruvaiyaru(Aiyaarappar temple) In Tanjore district of Tamil nadu . I have also visited here .

This question's been asked in different threads in the forum ever since the new promo's come out...as are a whole lot of other viewers, I was wondering exactly why the CVs showed Shiva as obssessed with stopping Parvati from becoming yogya enough for him -- one of the things I liked so much about the original story was that Shiva was barely involved in Parvati's journey towards self-actualization...he didn't need to! The process towards that was tough enough as it were...why would the CVs make Shiva waste his time forming further obstacles to Parvati's path? The only memory I have of anything resembling a test is the point where Shiva disguises himself as a hermit who insults Shiva, and who is turn given a thousand tongue lashings before he reveals himself and marries her.

Thats absolutely true , Shiva was total indifferent and not invilved in her journey to self realization. He does come in the end to test her but thats it

Imagine how amazing DKDM would be if they just stuck to the story more often!
