The producers may have read our observations, but these epis were shot earlier, so they may be forgiven for still showing wrong rank insignia (inter alia...). 😃
But, here's some more homework for them now:
1. Work towards some more realistic representation of situations:
. Can it be that a person just barges into a PS like Bunty did and gets straight to the Special Officer?
. Where, all of a sudden, does Bunty get a mobike from, when all this time she has been moving around on her cycle? She would have chased the truck last time much more easily on her bike!
. They show Bhim riding a mobike WITHOUT A HELMET. Sure, one does see some policewalas helmetless but others do use one, very much so. And Bhim goes by the rules and would do the right thing in this case.
Bunty did wear a helmet. Was it then to portray their difference this way also? He, the rough guy, she, the righteous one?
Besides, it conveys a wrong message in general anyway.
2. Have a review of the make-up work: e.g., when a person's throat is slit, it doesn't show the way it did... Besides, what was the need to show it so crudely? There are subtler, and surely equally effective, ways of portraying such a scene.
3. Keep an eye on the way props are put:
. First the girl is shown being thrown out of the taxi; her suitcase is standing nearby as the car speeds away. Odd why the driver would have thrown it out, in the first place. For all that takes time, and he would have want to be away from the crime scene fastest.
But, then, the case is standing upright serenely, whereas the throw would have made it come down in a dishevelled state.
And then, with the police around, the case is shown completely open...
In short, they need what used to be called a 'SCRIPT GIRL', one who notes down for each shot each and every setting, position of props, what lines are said by which actor, etc... 😆
