Aadesh Chaudhary, better known as Diggu fromLaagi Tujhse Lagan, is back on the tube after 10 months with Desh Ki Beti Nandini. He will portray a grey character in the show. After playing a negative role in Laagi..., Aadesh had turned positive in Byaah Hamari Bahu Ka.
Says he, "My character in Byaah... was supposed to turn negative, eventually. But the show wrapped up before the plan could materialise. In the latest show, I am going to put up a fight against Gayatri Devi, who wants her son to become the next prime minister. Though we play family members, I won't stop at anything to sabotage her plan." Interestingly, the actor is not willing to let go of his beard for any role.
Says he, "I look like a boy without a beard. In this show, I will sport a stubble, which I plan to grow into a beard, eventually."
Does he fear being typecast as a villain? Says Aadesh, " I have no qualms playing a negative role as it offers a lot of scope to perform. Also, all my characters turned negative for a valid reason."
