The car finally stopped, she parked the car in the isolated parking lot. As they got outside the car and she breathed freely in the air, and looked around. The whole thing was so different there was sand and water, at a place it looked like the sand and the ocean were emerging as one. The palm trees were exotically planted on the side of the beach. As he stretched himself after the three hour love drive and was pleased to look around. It had been years since he had come to the beach, as they walked down to the shores, she took off her shoes and walked barefooted and he also followed her. It felt amazing as the sand touched their feet with the sun and the water everything looked so good. They kept their shoes and walked in the water, both had the water level till their ankle, as soft waves of the water hit their legs and tried pushing them behind, suddenly Uday looked at the big waves emerging towards them, he looked at her as she smiled, the golden old days were back, he held her hands tightly as they walked farther into the sea with great difficulty as a huge wave hit their body, they did get imbalanced but their hands glued to each other. As Manyata laughed her heart out, she recalled how earlier they always came here held hands and walked further in the beach. Soon the isolated place was filled with their laughter. After having a fun filled play at the water, they headed back to the shores; it was already afternoon by that time, as they sat quietly watching the shores, their hands tightly together. They did not say a word just watched the waves silently, suddenly a growl disturbed into their peace and it was from Manyata stomach. She turned her face away shyly as Uday smirked at her and asked

"So seems like the elephant inside you in hungry"

She gave a small smile as he looked around and asked her

"Do you know remember the small food stall by we always used to sneak out and eat while other used to play"

"Yes Rina aunty was the owner, we were so small then, will the stall still be there after all this place have changed so much in this ten years"

"Let's go and find out"

She shook her head in a yes, as they put on their shoes and walked by the roads, and on the shot they got their food stall. But it was completely different, it no longer had a glittering head board or the rush of people it looked more like an isolated place. They entered the restaurant to find no one except for a young girl almost sleeping in the counter. Uday went and knocked at the desk that woke her up, she escorted them to a corner table and placed the menu card, they were searching through the menu just when they heard a scream, they looked back it was their Rina aunty, just her 20s look had turned into 30, with her face slightly wrinkled, they rushed at her and hugged her, as the trio sat and she said

"It has been so long since you all have come here"

"Sorry Aunty we got caught up in our life" said Uday

"Of course after all you became Maharaja and you Manyata did you finally get married to your Uday... I still recall the way you used to act possessive about him"

Manyata shyly looked away as she said in a soft audible voice

"Awn you are embarrassing me aunty now"

"But that's the way you always acted, by the way this is my daughter Saira, every summer she comes here to stay with me and other time she is Dubai with her grandmother"

Manyata looked around and asked her

"Where is David uncle?"

Suddenly tears filled in her eyes, as she looked around wiping her tears and she said

"He is no more; he passed away before five years"

"I am so sorry Aunty" said Manyata

It was too hard for both Manyata and Uday to believe, that David was gone. They recalled that only this couple knew about their real identity and how they narrated their tale of love, they had a runaway marriage because of the different religion. They were so much in love that it was still so hard to believe that David was no more. As Rina aunty continued to say

"Yes but people need to move on, we cannot start a new chapter of our life if we keep re reading the previous chapter and I found my new love, my daughter as I feel if God has given us a life to live if he has send a person in my life, then it is to be loved, I feel even David would be unhappy if he sees me sad so I laugh for his sake, I want to move on for his sake and finally the quest have ended I am getting married to Sanju, he treats my daughter like his own, he really loves me and now that I see I guess even I love him after all life is too short to be hated right"

They chatted all the way as they eat their lunch, but something changed, someone changed and it was Manyata, she had changed. The words kept revolving round her head, as they went to their car; it had already drawn to dusk. Uday sat there to drive as before he could start she held his hands and looked at him. She said to him

"Uday can you forgive me?"

"For what Princess"

"For being so mean to you, for loving someone else, for planning revenge against you and for all the mean deeds that I did!!"

"You are the love of my life Princess, the most beautiful dream of my life, how can I ever hate you...I will always love you Princess"

She remained quite as they drove away quietly in peace, no one spoke a word, as the dusk turned into evening, he dropped her to the palace and went in his palace, but as he entered he was shocked his mom, dad and Siddhartha was sitting in the sofa while Vasu stood with her heads bowed down.

Chapter 10

Gazab ki maang hoti hai joh dil ko maang leti hai ... ek aaisi taang hoti hai joh dil ko taang deti hai

She went up to her room to get ready for the party, that day was the best day of her life. She enjoyed each and every second of the day and she had come upon the fact that now she was going to give Uday a chance, she was going to give their love a chance. By the time she looked at her phone to check the time, she was shocked to see her phone was showered by calls and message from Falaq. She called Falaq up and without a word Falaq asked her to come over her place. Very meekly she managed an escape, as she got inside and asked

"What the matter Falaq? Why did you call me here suddenly?"

"I am sorry Manyata but I cannot continue this mission"

"But ... what happened?"

"First Siddhartha well even in seven lives he cannot love me, as he is already owned by someone else"

"What do you mean?"

Flashback

Siddhartha was busy looking blankly at the ceiling , the entire day he had been extremely absent minded, as Falaq kept trying to speak to him, but he just nodded his head to reply, that too he was not paying much concentration to it, suddenly there was a call as she heard him say

"What are you doing there? ... where are the guards?...Vasu are you CRAZY DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT HAVE YOU GOT YOURSELF INTO. HOW CAN YOU BE SO STUPID? WAIT THERE TILL I COME"

He stood up packing up all the things, as he said

"Falaq cancel all my meetings for today, I have to go somewhere"

"But Siddhartha we have planned to go for lunch together"

She said in a seductive tone, as she held on to his arms, he looked at her gave away a sign and said

"Vasu some other day please"

"I am falaq"

"I am sorry I am really messed up, I will call you later"

"But what is so important to you that you are ignoring me"

He turned back at her and fumed with anger as he said to her

"Ok listen up I can never ignore you as you never even mattered to me and seriously I cannot believe that I broke my Vasu heart for someone like you, I thought I loved you but no it had been Vasu and only her whom I love. Since morning when you are trying your tricks on me my heart is glued on her. So back off cause I am already her man"

Saying this he left the office leaving a dazed and shocked Falaq

Flashback Over

Manyata looked at her with her eyes wide open and asked her

"Is that for real is that really what brother said you"

"Yes this were his exact words and another thing is we do not need a revenge as Arjun is alive"

"What he is alive?"

Colors flew off from her face, as she stood rooted and Falaq continued

"Right after he was shot Siddhartha had send for people to take him to hospital, it was all planned they wanted you to assume him dead, he got discharged yesterday and he himself said me to come back and I am really sorry to say this, but in spite of you doing all this for him, he wants to maintain distance from you, he has given up on you, and he wants to move ahead in life without you."

Manyata smiled in a sarcastic way and said to her

"Tell him that us being together was just a bad dream that we both should forget and move on in our life"

"Surely"

"And falaq thanks for being with me and helping me best of luck for your future"

"Same to you Manyata, and do not hate Uday as he really loves you a lot"

They smiled and parted away, they went on their different path in search of a new life.

In the evening.

Uday attended the guest as everyone gave him gifts and wished him birthday, even Vasu came with her cute puppy face after hearing to everything he was initially angry at her but her sweet innocent demand for some freedom had melted his heart as she presented him ages old teddy bear, she recalled how they fought for it, and how for not getting it he cried out and initially had a fever, but she never gave it to him. His eyes was filled with tears as he hugged her and said

"This is the best gift for me Chotti"

"I love you dada, happy birthday"

He smiled as he extended his hands to spoil her hair like he always do when he finds her cute but suddenly his hands was held in midway, he looked it was Siddhartha as Uday looked shocked as Siddhartha said

"She is no more a kid, so don't do it and you come along with me"

He said and dragged Vasu along with him, Uday was outraged by Siddhartha authorities behavior, he was about to follow them, but was held back by Manyata, as she came and said

"Happy Birthday Uday"

He hugged her as he looked at her and said

"Thanks Princess for making this day so special for me..."

"Can I make it a little special for you?"

He looked confused as she walked up to the stage and took the mike and said

"Good evening ladies and gentleman, firstly a very happy birthday to me dearest Uday and I am here to announce something so please be patience and listen to it.

Today I have planned to open a new chapter of my life with Uday...Remember Uday you had asked me a question yesterday, here the answer to it ... I would choose you Uday, there is someone whom I choose to give my life was then it had to be you, because you were the one to love me from the beginning till end and I knew you would never given upon me, if there is anyone whom I want to nag, irritate, scream at and love then it got to be you...I love you Uday"

He rushed to her and hugged her with all might, as he whispered into her ears

"I love you too Princess, I love you too"

Siddhartha went down on his knees and said

"I do not know how to explain it to you, just yesterday I rejected you and today I am on my knees, see Vasu I know at times I am mean, and really cruel but if there is anyone who can bring out the brighter side, you can only make me a better person, I am sorry Vasu if there is anyone whom I can love then it had to be you, I am crazily in love with you"

She looked at him, kneeled down and hugged him as she said to him

"You idiot I love you too"

Epilogue

True love doesn't end with a happy ending. Because in a true love story, there are no endings

After 3 years

The Jaigarh palace is decorated like a new wedded bride, the fragrance of flower covering up each corner of the palace, lighting making the evening look like a morning. The smell of delicious cuisines filled in the palace. Everyone and everybody was in rush after all it was the marriage of the little princess. Manyata was busy screaming at the decorators who seemed to take a little long time to put up the flower, she wanted everything to be perfect, after all it was her bhai and her dearest nanad Vasu marriage. She could not believe how fast time had filed, just before 2 years she had come to the palace as a new wedded bride and now the whole marriage seemed to be on her shoulder. Suddenly Giriraaj walked to her and said

"Manyata did you Uday or Udit, they seemed missing after lunch"

"I will go and look for them"

She looked around in all the room and finally found Uday and Udit in the nursery,

Udit was sleeping while Uday looked charming and handsome in his white sherwani. She watched as Uday spoke in an animated language with the six month Udit. She came from behind and caressed his cheek as he said

"Isn't our little prince looking cute?"

"Indeed he is now Uday lets go down everyone waiting for you, the marriage is about to start"

"Lets go"

Saying this very carefully they took the little one in their hands as they headed down, both Vasu and Siddhartha looked mesmerizing in their dress as the marriage rituals began, they never looked more happy than this. Finally after completing her college she was being wedded to the prince of her dreams and who says fairytale is not for real.

Manyata showed Uday, how cutely Udit had curdled in her arms and slept as he kissed his forehead and said

"Dad loves you baby"

Manyata looked at him with a puppy face as he kissed her on her cheek and said

"Dad loves mummy too"

"Mummy also loves dad"
