The start was quite action-packed with Veer fighting those goons , but alas ... it didn't last and he , himself got attacked! Now they're taken hostage by that good-for-nothing Akash😡! Hope they're rescued soon.

She was beginning to gain conscious in some sort of store room. There was pitch darkness in the room and she could see nothing. She tried standing up and a swoon came over her. Lot of questions began to swarm her mind and everything became clear as her eyes got adjusted to the blackness. In plain words she was kidnapped and held captive, but for what? And where was Veer?

"Koi hai?" she called out.

Her own words echoed to her as no one answered her. Dejected she sat on the ground in disappointment. Will she ever be able to get out? Last time she had thwarted the kidnapping attempt on her successfully. She felt tears running down her cheeks. The next moment the Rajwadan inside her spoke up 'No Manyata, no use crying'get up and find your way out'Go for it girl.

There was a creak of a door opening somewhere across the room and sudden rush of light made her cross her arm across her eyes.

"toh..tumhe finally hosh aagaya..chalo achcha hai'"a gruff voice spoke.

"tum koun ho? Meri tumse kya dushmani hai ? mera Veer kahan hai?" she blurted out.

"tumhe sab pata chal jaayega..tum yahan rehkar thodi der aur aaram karo haan.." the man said. She still could not see his face as there was darkness where she stood and direct light on his face made it impossible to see his face.

He slid a packet across the room and it landed near her leg. "yeh khana khalo" he told her. as she looked on he closed the door and went away.

She wouldn't take it lying down that he had treated her like a dog. She would rather eat roadkill than eat this. Time seemed to move like a snail in the prison she was forced into.

She didn't how much time had passed but she felt her stomach grumbling. No she wouldn't eat. She closed her eyes and saw Veer's face, what would he be doing now? did the kidnappers leave him to die? Or has he been kidnapped too? If the situation were reversed and he was kidnapped, would he be lying helpless like this waiting for some way out? No he wouldn't; her brain answered back.

He would be fighting till the last breath'then what are you waiting for?

But for fighting or even standing up for that matter you need strength my dear' for the strength you need to eat..

She scoured the ground for the stupid packet and found it lying there. Her mind still refused to look at it but her physical need was much higher. She swallowed her pride and opened it. Was it mere co-incidence that kidnapper had chosen omelet for her? She shut her eyes tightly and imagined she was dining with Veer.

They were seated in the poshest restaurant in shimla and the waiter brought them champagne. Veer opened it and poured it into the waiting flutes. She raised her glass and he did the same. When she placed the glass back after taking a sip, he said "yeh tumhare chehre par kya hai.."

"kya?" she touched her face in doubt.

"tumhari lipstick.."he bent forward to wipe it. She too bent towards him and instead of hands, he chose his own lips to correct it.

440 watts of current ran through her and she blushed crimson. The waiter coming towards them with the food tray giggled and she felt embarrassed.

"tum bhi na..kahin bhi shuru ho jaate ho" she whispered in fake annoyance. The waiter placed the food on the table and went away without a further word. It was Italian cannenoli pasta and she began to eat with excitement. But then the song playing in background changed from English classical to a slow bollywood number.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Udayveer singh wants to dedicate this beautiful song to his beloved wife, Mrs. Manyata singh..enjoy the song" the DJ said from behind the console.

Manyata was on cloud nine, she felt like crying and smiling at the same time. "Chalo na Veer..dance karte hain" she managed to say.

He extended his hand and she took it with elegance. There were more people twirling at the dance floor but all eyes were on Manveer.

'thudd!' something fell on the floor, breaking her delusion. Oh yeah she was in some odd place away from the one who loved her. Day dreams were not going to help her. She noticed that a box had fallen from its place; probably some rat or something had dislodged it from its place. She went near to investigate and touched the place. It felt hollow when she tapped it. Finally she had found the silver lining of the dark cloud. She let out a relieved breath.
