DEKHA EK KHWAAB - PART 5

The threesome( Vijay bhai, Unnathi & Jai) who were looking for Manyata and uday thinking that their differences had been sorted out by now but now they were shocked watching this drama unfold, looking at manyata walking.

Vijay Bhai '' Tho pir uday banna was enjoying himself in London and here bechara Manyata Bhai got busy only in saving our family. I wonder how many other women are walking around in his shirt'' he says angrily

Jai understood why vijay bhai was getting so angry, he loved his sisters, especially manyata and he didn't want her to go through all the pain again and neither did she. Its my fault that this misunderstanding happened that made uday leave and today I will get that of my chest.

Jai '' guys please don't get upset with each other, Unnathi I know he is your dada and you don't want to think this way of him and vijay bhai I also know how much you love jiji, we all do. But I also know that uday loves jiji also, I don't understand whats going on now but I will make sure to let him know exactly what happened''

Jai walked towards Uday followed by Vijay Bhai and Unnathi.

Uday turned around'' tum saab yahaan? Manyata just left, she is probably looking for you'll '' with a straight firm tone.

Jai'' Yes we saw her leaving and we also saw your new shirt leaving'', she says angrily

Uday looking at her with slight anger '' what nonsense jai, I don't have time for your games now. I have an early flight tomorrow so …(cut off by Unnathi)

Unnathi '' Nahi dada, this is not game, Today you will learn the truth and you will listen to what we have to say'' she spoke like a true princess firm commanding voice. Uday looked at her stunned, his choti had never spoken to him in that tone.

Vijay Bhai '' Haan Uday Banna, enough is enough. I cant see Manyata bhai going through this hurt again. She loves you god damn, more than anything and more than anyone. Yes she has made mistakes, but her innocence and naivety led her being misled and you could not see that? You know better than anyone, she thinks with her heart not her head, her compassion and always wanting to find the best in people. She brought the best out in you too Uday banna, have you forgotten that?''

Unnathi '' yes dada, manyata was the only one to reach behind that mask that you put on after moms death. She made you feel again, she made you smile again dada, In fact she made you live again''. (Uday closes his eyes feeling the breeze touch his face and all he could picture was her smile, her long hair open teasing him and him running after her) broke out of his thoughts by jai's voice and turned to see the tears rolling down her cheeks. Now he was really stunned jai never cries and crying for manyata……

Jai sobbing '' Uday, this is all my fault. I lied, I lied about everything.

(Flashback) On your wedding day jiji refused to go meet with akash but I told her to meet him one last time as he said he would harm you if she did not meet him, he had phoned the media and told them to be at the temple as the Yuvrani would be marrying him and it worked when she arrived everyone labeled her the runaway bride, she tried to get away from akash but he would not let her. He drugged her and took her to his mansion, where he took out those pictures and made it seem like jiji had spent the night with him and consummated. The next day when she awoke, she questioned akash and they fought and she ran away, Akash let her run away as he had gotten what he wanted, he knew it would kill you seeing those pictures. ….. You figured out that it was me and not jiji at the mandap and we all know how what happened next. When jiji returned home, she pleaded with us all to listen, she tried to explain and had akash not sent those pictures to you, you would have believed jiji. I remember how you lost control and broke everything, cutting your hand.

Udays anger flared up again listening to Jai. He was looking at her with so much rage that she could feel it but she didn't stop she continued.

Jai '' I KNOW YOU ARE ANGRY WITH ME, YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE. The last straw was when you had finally decided to listen to jiji and meet her at caf royale, I told akash to meet her there and the rest you know when you entered there, It was all planned uday. AND THEN YOUR ACCIDENT HAPPENED THE SAME NIGHT. I found out later it was akash who tampered with your brakes''

Now uday was just boiling over the top, he grabbed jai by the arms and gritted his teeth '' JAI HOW COULD YOU , I CANT BELIEVE YOU DID ALL THAT, I HAVE TREATED MANYATA SO BADLY AND YOU SAT THERE SILENTLY AND WATCHED IT'' WHY JAI, WHY? He shook her violently.

Vijay bhai pulled him back'' calm down uday banna. I know you are angry but jai has been repenting for her mistakes, infact she tried to tell you all this before you left but she tried calling you and no reply and unnathi had said that you had already left. There was no way to get in contact with you even manyata bhai tried one last time but you had disconnected the call'' ( uday remembered how he looked at his mobile and his flight was due to take off and he had to switch off his phone)

Unnathi '' dada manyata has loved you and only you, she took care of you when you were in a coma, she did not leave your side, she did not worry about her health, hardly ate or slept waiting for you to wake up, she prayed daily. Dada I tried telling about all this but once your anger sets in, your rajwade pride and ego sets in'' DADA WE GOT YOU BACK HERE TODAY, even papa knows and set up the urgent business meeting he could not attend. He loves you dada and he loves Manyata as well.

Jai'' you know uday, jiji has a heart of gold after all I had done, she forgave me and never once reminded me of what I caused her to loose, all she would do is work and concentrate on building riyasat, it was not easy and she struggled, we all tried to help but it was jiji's determination, her will power and her ethics that freed us of all the problems we were facing, dad does not drink anymore, dadi saab is out of her coma, our family was happy. That's what it would seem from afar but uday, jiji's smile and her laughter that used to light up the whole house, that was lost. Her bubbliness and her naughtiness that was gone. She had many marriage proposals but would never even think of it neither would we mention it to her as she told in presence of everyone that her heart belongs to one person and she is his only. That's you Uday and to this day, her love has not decreased, She remembers everything and all your habits infact she has taken to most of them.

Uday had tears in his eyes listening to her. He wanted to scream out his pain and anguish. He cursed himself for having treated her that way, for not listening to her, for taking away her smile. He finally spoke….

Uday '' Jai you are not the only one at fault, you tried to repent and I just walked away. I cant believe what a fool I have been and how much I have hurt her, he bangs his hand against the rail. Oh god, how do I face her now? And after tonight she will never want to see me again, not that I blame her.

'' In London I tried everything to forget her, I would get busy at work but her laughter and her innocent eyes would haunt me, drink and women were the only things that would lessen the pain. While I would wake up the next morning regretting it, I would do it again the next night with some on else. Anything to ease the pain. But all this meant nothing in comparison to manyata. How do I justify myself? How could I do this to her? How do I explain?….. Unnathi hugged her brother.

All could see the pain and remorse uday was in. He was suffering just as much being apart from her.

Vijay bhai '' Uday banna what has happened was in the past and now we have to think about the future. Behind every great love story, there is a past( which you'll had) a present( which you'll have now) and a future( which you'll will have soon) so stop thinking about the past concentrate on the future. All that matters is that you love her and she lives only for you. We are all with you Uday banna, now you have to get your Maharani.

Jai'' Yes Jiju, please forgive me and I promise I will do all I can to bring back jiji's and your happiness ''

Vijay Bhai'' Uday Banna stop stressing, manyata loves you, hum sab jaante hain.

Uday '' I just hope …..(cut off by Unnathi)

Unnathi'' Not hope dada, where there is a will there is a way and besides LOVE CONQUERS ALL.'' she held his hand. Jai and vijay bhai held his hand also making a pact… ''HAAN NAHI TOH'' all laughed through tears.

Uday remembered '' lisa??

Jai '' you don't worry about that chipkalli jiju, just think she is already back in London'' all had a good laugh knowing jai's methods of getting rid of the ''churail''.

Jai tried manyata's mobile as they all been up at the terrace and forgot about her. She did not pick up.

She called the home number and seema ji told her that yuvrani came back half an hour ago.

'' Ok vijay bhai, jiji is safe at home, lets go its quite late and tomorrow is another big day for us'' kal milenge unnathi or jiju breakfast par, We have a lot to do. She winked at them, both vijay bhai and jai left and uday and unnathi made their way home.

Through out the night uday could not sleep, he could bear the pain that he had caused the most precious pearl, his princess. He finally closed his eyes as his dreams called out to him.

Manyata was tossing through out the night. She had cried so much when she got home, her head was throbbing. She could not think anymore, her head just ached even more. She got up and made her way to her balcony, put on her satin gown and leaned against the pillars taking in the breeze, it made her feel so at ease as if caressing her face and her hair and soon her headache vanished. She pulled her gown close to her and smiled faintly at the moon before heading in to sleep. In the morning Dadi saab will be here, ma, data. She felt relief knowing her family would all be together soon and fell asleep unaware of what tomorrow has in store for her...
