Find some other chick to light them with..I'm getting late for class" and she ran saying this as the first bell was just about to ring while Udayveer Singh stood there momentarily scratching his chin unable to make head or tail of what the love of his life had just said.

"Anam's talking to Sonam and getting her to relax, Shana's boosting her morale while Chitra is asking if she could trade places with Sonam and have Uday instead since Sonam doesn't want him and Paunchy's late as usual so no need to hurry." By this time Ria had reached upstairs and had turned the corner of the corridor and met Mahi. The girls hugged each other.

. Seeing this Nikammi reunion, some other nikammies in Ria's class: Dewa, Jarin, Sarah, Fifu, Mehwish, Niha, Alissa, Tanvi, Gowri, Roze got up and joined in. (The other nikammies were late to class or absent and were missing Sonam's ordeal lol). The girls decided to catch up with each other in Prof. Paunchy aka Prof. Shekhawat's absence. Even though the girls had just talked yesterday but they were so close that they got overwhelmed by emotion every time they met. Such was their beautiful bond of friendship. "Hey guys, I just thought since Sonam's highly uninterested in Uday, Can I have him instead?" asked Roze hopefully. "Sorry babe, I'm already claiming him since he's in the 3rd year, we're in the 2nd and you guys in the 1st. Me, Anam, Mahi, and Shana have first right on him. You can have him if he doesn't want any of us" said Chitra winking to rest of the girls when Roze wasn't looking. Roze made funny faces and bawled her fists to show her anger and it made the rest of the gang just reach out and pinch her cheeks.

Sonam's temper was on the 7th sky while she fidgeted with the strap of her hand bag: "This Uday is totally driving me CRAZY, UFFF I hate that obnoxious, full of himself yuvraaj." "Hey leave it Sonu, tell me did my Psych notes help you out" asked Shana tactfully trying to maneuver Sonam's thoughts and lighten up her mood. The other girls shared a knowing look amongst themselves understanding what Shana was trying to do . After 20 mins of waiting the girls decided that Paunchy is not gonna show up today and the entire class scattered in case he did show up. Dewa, Sarah, Jarin and Fia wanted to try the new burger of the cafeteria so all the girls headed over there while Mehwish, Gowri, and Tanvi wanted to chat endlessly with the gang.

Sonam came home and her mother greeted her happily and told her to freshen up and have lunch. After having lunch, Sonam's mother in a conspiratory tone informed Sonam to get ready in the evening as some guests are coming to see her and left her puzzled instead of telling her who the guests were. Sonam being the obedient daughter washed up, and wore the clothes and jewelry that her mother had laid out for her. She couldn't understand why she was being decked up but she guessed that sooner or later she'll find out the truth.
The guests arrived and she got out to meet them and was stunned seeing Udayveer there. It was Udayveer's family who had come to see her and meet her family. While the families chatted together, getting to know each other Udayveer leaned towards Sonam and spoke in her ear: "Candle toh hum jala kar hi rahein gay. You'll have to make it an agarbatti my old world heroine." While Sonam just pursed her lips to refrain from smiling while her hands fidgeted her dupatta nervously.
