There was a power failure and till the power was restored both were going to be stuck inside the lift. There was some problem with the cables and the lift shook so violently throwing Manyata straight into arms of her lone companion. They fell on each other due to lack of space in the lift. The mesmerizing smell of his aftershave made Manyata forget herself for a moment. When she came to her senses, immediately she backed out.

Manyata: Hey Bhagwan, pehle hi kya ek museebat kam thi jo aapne bijli bhi nikaldi…ab main college kaise pohonchungi??

Guy: Yeh tum har cheez ke liye bhagwan ko kyon doshi tehrati ho? Relax! Lights abhi aajeyengi..

Manyata: Kya relax haan kya relax..yeh sab tumhari wajah se hua hai, agar tum nahi aaye hote toh main ab tak aaram se college pohonch chuki hoti…idiot kahin ke…kahaan phasadiya mujhe aap ne god!

Guy: Yeh tum kya keherahi ho? Tumhari situation main koi aur ladki hoti toh woh apne kismat ko thank you bolti aur tum ho ki complaint kar rahi ho…

Manyata: achcha aisa kya hai yahaan jiske liye mujhe thankful hona chahiye?

Guy: Pata hai kitni ladkiyan marti hai mujhpe, tumhari situation me hone ke liye toh ladkiyan apni jaan de dengi, aur tum ro rahi ho…

Manyata: aayne me shakl dekhi hai kabhi apni…main un ladkiyon ki tarah nahi hoon jo Hot ladka dekha nahi ke peeche pad jaati hai!

Guy: agar maine sahi suna toh Tumne mujhe Hot kaha! Tum maano ya na mano tumne meri baahon me enjoy toh bohot kiya, chahe 30 second hi kyon na ho!

Manyata: Halkat vede, khasmanukhane, Tharak ke peepe!

Guy: baap re, itni saari gaaliyan kahan se seekhi tumne?

Manyata didn't answer. She was praying to all the gods to take her out of this situation, they spent some more time in silence. Then suddenly power was restored. When her eyes got adjusted to the light, she came across two most powerful Brown eyes staring back at her. She too stared back and try as much as she could, she could not break the eye lock. It seemed there was a magnetic force in his eyes which was pulling her towards him. She had to shake her head twice to regain her composure. She was just opening her mouth to say something when lift started moving. Within seconds they reached the ground floor.

She didn't know why but now she was feeling a little sadness that lift ride ended too soon. "Hold it Manyata, tumhe late ho raha hai," she told herself. When they came out he asked he followed her to the building gate.

Manyata: Kya main jaan sakti hoon tum mera peecha kyon kar rahe ho?

Guy: excuse me, yeh public place hai, main kahi bhi aa sakta hoon, kahi bhi jaa sakta hoon, waise tumhe late ho raha hai main chod doon?

Manyata(Mockingly): Shriman, jo bhi aap ka naam hai, hum par taras khane ki koi zaroorat nahi, hum Bus se chale jayenge, just go away..

Manyata walked towards the nearest Bus stop hurriedly. Call it her bad fortune or rather good fortune the bus had already left. Instead of waiting she thought she would go in an auto..But as it happens in this situation none of the autowalla's agreed to come to her destination. She was about to cross the road, when out of nowhere a black Mercedes stopped in front of her stunning her. She had already guessed the identity of the driver but she couldn't help but be surprised when he rolled down the windows and said: "Get in "

Manyata: Tum phir mera peecha karte karte yahaan bhi aagaye! Mujhe koi lift nahi chahiye, offer karne ke liye thank you..

Guy: sochlo, tum already itni late ho chuki ho, tumhari bus ko aane me abhi kamse kam aadha ghanta hai, main dobara nahi poochnewala, last chance…

Manyata didn't know what came over her she just got in without a second thought.

Scene inside the car

Manyata had seated herself comfortably beside him but was struggling with her seat belt. He smiled at her innocence and bent to fix it himself. While he was adjusting the belt his hands accidentally touched Manyata's neck and lingered there for a few seconds more. Manyata felt like electricity had surged through her body when he did that. Suddenly her mobile rang bringing both of them out of their reverie. It was Unnati, Manyata's best friend in college.

Manyata: Hello, Unnati

Unnati: Manyata kaha hai yaar tu, sab tera wait kar rahe hai yahaan par, yaad hai na aaj ke program ki shuruat tujhe hi karni hai,

Manyata: haan haan yaad hai,

Unnati: Aur tujhe pata hai na aaj ka chief guest kaun hai?

Manyata: Haan woh bhi pata hai, sheher ka sabse young, handsome, dashing, aur successful business man, Udayveer singh, pata nahi tum sab uss par itna kyon marte ho?aisa kya jaadu hai usme?

Unnati: Jab tu usse dekhegi na toh tu bhi hamari tarah uss par jaan lutane lagegi, woh hai hi aisa..

Manyata: achcha ab usse chod, program ki taiyyari kar, main aati hoon thodi der me,

Unnati: theek hai jaldi aana, bye..

Manyata: bye Unnati
