will udai be stepping stone or hurdle for ak

hey guys heard the latest interview of ak on IF on you tube
the poor guy is working so hard, he said he is giving 200% to his role
yet most of his fans are not happy as they yet love him as udai so much
i personally find him as good as saahil
granted udai was a iconic role which cannot be recreated, plus he is no amitabh or salman that roles will be specially written for him, he has to accept the new offer and is giving his best, so it is ironical that saahil role is not working for his fans due to udai
we all including me is watching and liking lmyam for ak, would not consider it otherwise, so that is a given, i am just talking of ak fans.
my topic is of what happens ahead?
will udai pull ak backwards or ahead?
pls give yr opinion

I wouldn't call the character a hurdle for AK. I don't think AK would even be popular if it wasn't for the role of Uday. I've seen him in Bandini but never paid attention and no one gave popularity to him when he is in YRKKH which is watched by a lot. It's just that he isn't suited for Majnu types role!

i think the problem is not the role of sahil but the problem is the heroine as if instead of rishika priyal would be playing shivanji then the trps would boast and people would love the show because we all love AK in all ways the problem is not him it is rishika sorry if offended anybody

Uday can never be a hurdle for AK as Uday gave him the most recognition and love that an actor desires from his fans❤️... plus Uday was a role of a lifetime...that charisma, that attitude can never be recreated... it was just magical😎. After seeing him at that level (of a one in a million) to another character who is (among a million)is very hard to accept. Uday is a character you can't fail to notice while there are many characters who just go with the flow and are counted at the same level as the other cast.

Though most of us do watch him but in our own way. The character of Saahil is of just like any other guy for me, nothing out of the ordinary... so for me it'll take time to adjust. I remember Sonam's words "I don't like Majnu type pyaar main Nikamma characters"... so I guess that is where some differing points arise.


But AK is still doing a fab job in that character as well👏... its cuz of him most of us are even giving it a shot.

And we are all still AK's fans and support him... but in our own way/ style.

giuys i think you are forgeting uday is not a hurdle uday is one who make aashish sucessful and give him everything us se phele bhot zada loag use nahi jantay thay is role ki us ki zindagi mai nbhot importance hai he is not a hurdle for him and udayveer dobara aa sakta hai agar fans chae tu uv ko hurdle bol kar uv kay fans ko hurt mat kare please

Can you picture Abhishek Rawat as Uday and AK as Akash? I don't think anyone can. Just the same, most AK fans can't picture AK in a lover boy role. Barun can't be pictured as Majnu nor can Gurmeet be!
Plus, he should've given it at least a month or more before he steps out in a new character because we can't picture him NOT being someone who has no grey shade. And given the fact that LMYAM replaced DEK is more upsetting.

Not every role is suited for every character. I personally can't see Priyal as a villain! Where as I can't see Abhaas(from IPKKND) being a good guy!

Another factor I've seen is people like Sahil but not Sahil and Shivani together! AK and Rishika aren't meant to be together. Can you see Manyata with Vijay or Khushi with Shyam? 😆 It's not meant to be. They are two different poles. You can't picture eating a Jalebi with Aloo ka parantha, right? Just the same with AK and Rishika (no offense to the actors).

what i am trying to say is that we who love udai so much, are not accepting him as saahil, i asked couple of my family and friends who hated dek, they say is is smashind a s saahil, so why do ak fanss not like him as saahil
all actors essay different kinds of role srk went from a psychopath of darr to loverboy of ddlj,to a bad man of don2
so we i feel this is my personal opinion that because of our love for udai , do not appreciate ak as saahil

i know what u mean, and totally appreciate it, i made this topic because after hearing ak's interview felt that maybe udai is proving too big boots for him to fill too
