Chapter two
"Oh maasi u are bleeding very badly!!! I will not leave that dog!!!"
"No maggie its okay!! Just a little bit of bleeding !! I am fine"
"No u are not!!"
"Ufff"
She did the first aid and decided that she will take maasi to doctor to take a T.T injection as she was very concerned about her maasi.
"Oh god wat happen to u megha???"
"Now u don't start arushi pls its just a small one nothing big"
"Nothing big maasi!!! Oh look at the handkerchief its bathed in blood"
"Maggie can u pls take her to the doctor pls dear"
"Yes maa I will but now she needs rest she is weak I will take her tomorrow. Look she can't even walk"
"Ya dear I know"
"Oh ho u both very nicely know how to make a mountain of a mole hill"
"Take rest maggie can u pls come and help dear"
"Sure maa not a problem will come right away"
It was already 730 time for their father to arrive. They loved him a lot. Everyone did love him. He was a loving father, caring husband, friendly brother in law, and a very good friend. He was Aaron luis fitzpatrick D'souza.
Maggie was the apple of his eye. Though she was adopted he never differentiated between her and jenny. Nor could he even think of it in his dreams. She had come like a blessing in his life. His life took such a turn a the first step of the little angel that he actually did not even think of it!

"How was ur day paa?"
"Fine beta"
"How was urs?"
"Very nice paa infact ekdum rapchik raapchundas"
"Oh ho"

"Dad maasi has come"
"Ohhh nicee"

"Megha has come to stay with us"

He washed his face and looked at his wife.
"Wat?"
"Yes he finally divorced her after giving her so much suffering"
"Good atleast she can live in peace"
"Honey can she stay with us?"
"Of course I would be very happy after all she is my rakhi sister"
"Love u honey"
"Paa dinner ready everyone's present"
"Coming maggie"
They all sit together to have their dinner. Oh btw from everybody remembered her brother too. Means their brother. Vijay mark james emanuel fitzpatrick D'souza. Everybody in their family had huge names. Maggie's was Manyata margaret emily susan fitzpatrick D'souza. Jenny's was Jennifer anvi katherine elizabeth fitzpatrick D'souza. Uff too hard for them to remember too. It was because they were named by their father , mother , god father and god mother.
God father and god mother was their father's friends.
"Hi daddy"
"Hi jenny"
"Hi dad"
"Hi vijay"
"Hi jiju"
"Hi meghana"
"So let's start"
"Not so fast jenny first we need to pray"
"Will u stop pecking ur beak in between"

"Sorry dad"
They finish the prayer and start eating. Mid way through the meal aaron speaks up something.
"Hmm so megha u are going to stay with maggie in her room right!"
"Ya jiju that's wat ur darling daughter said"
"Hmm just a question no force out of u both who would like to shift to the room in the second floor hmm the one which was a store room. I mean which we call the attic"
"Its okay I will shift there jiju"
" No no no maasi I will go, u know that I love it there. U have a window balcony of metal and direct stairs to the terrace. And u know na paa that I love going to the terrace. So I will shift there"
"As u wish beta, so tomorrow we will go and shop for ur room ok"
"Ok paa"
"Why does maggie always get wat she wants?"
"Jenny will u pls stop it!!"
"Okay watever"
They soon finish their dinner. They finish their dinner by always by 9 and then used to see tv and do their work.There was a sudden knock on the door.
"Ill get it paa"
She opened the door and found a young man of around her maasi's age.
"Yes"
"Can I pls meet mr. D'souza"
"Paa someone has come"
"Come in pls"
"Thank u"
"Yes sir"
"Sorry to disturb u but I came to invite u for the housewarming party tomorrow night "
"Oh that's nice"
"Btw we live in the next house"
"We?"
"Me my niece and nephews"
"Oh! Btw call me aaron" shaking hands.
"I am ranveer chauhan, ranveer for u"
"Here water"
"Thanks"
While he was drinking water, he noticed a girl standing near the door of the room. She too caught hold of his watch and shied away and came near her sister.
"Btw wat are ur names?"
"Oh I am manyata margaret emily susan fitzpatrick D'souza. Can call me maggie" shaking her hands.
"Jennifer anvi katherine elizabeth fitzpatrick D'souza. Call me jenny"
He smiled.
"Vijay mark james emanuel fitzpatrick D'souza. Vijay for everyone."
"This is my wife arushi amelia D'souza. And sister in law meghana sanghvi."
"Hello"
"Hi"
"Hello"
"Aaron pls do come with everyone tomorrow ni8"
"Sure"
"Ok then I think I should take ur leave"
"Ok then "
And aaron goes to leave him till the door.
They all retire back to their rooms to sleep.
The next day being a saturday was much lot the same. Early morning jogging maggie and her dad went to everyday was cancelled out becuz of the rain!! They decided to go to shop for maggie's new bedroom in the afternoon and came home by 530 - 600. The party was in the evening!! They finished painting the small room and setting those shelfs all by them selfs. The bed would come soon! And they set it and decided to get ready for the party.
Everyone was dressed and were waiting for maggie and jenny to come. Everyone knew that jenny took always long time to dress up but maggie getting dressed up for so long was strange.
"Let's go dad I am ready."
Jenny was wearing this.

Maggie comes down rushing.
"Sorry sorry sorry I couldn't find my stuff I still couldn't find my flats dad so I was late had to wear these."

They all reach the house and see many people there. Many youngsters and almost all from the colony.

She comes back with two youngsters but maggie was busy talking to someone. Everyone were introduced. Meghana had recognised one of them and smiled.
One of those boys was staring maggie from behind. He was amused the way she dressed. Her shoes everything so simple. But someone pulled him with them.
"Hey maggie beta"
"Yes uncle" she turned back.
"My nephews adityaveer where did this chote go now?"
"Wat???" Her eyes widened.
"This idiot is ur nephew, shameless guy he is"
"Hey miss manyata" smirking.
"I feel to break ur head with a wine bottle now"
"Wow calm down maggie"
"No vijay bhai he is dead today"
"Cool maggie"
"I can't believe he is ur nephew."
"Oh maggie be quiet "
"Oh jenny let's go somewhere else and talk"
"Oh sure aditya"
And they go to meet his friends!!
"Pagal kutta kahinka"she mumbles.
The music suddenly stops and and everyone turns to that direction.
"Hey guys!!!! So I am unnati!! And welcum to the party!!! So wassup guys?? I know I know dumb question!!!"
Everyone laughs.
"So guys let's play a game. I guess u all are familiar with this. So u will get number. So there is a pair of each number . Each number of the pair in a different bowl. So u pick up search for the person with the same number as urs and dance with him on a piece of paper!! Don't worry girls and guys!!! One bowl for boys and the other for girls. Btw participation is compulsory guys"
Two people come to giv the chits to everyone.
The soon pair up with their partners and maggie still couldn't find hers.
"Number 19" she yelled.
"Here" a voice yelled back and waved his hand in the air.
He was a handsome, young dashing, boy of around the same age of maggie's. He was wearing a white shirt and black jeans with waist coat. He looked at maggie as she was the most beautiful one ever. He fell for a simplicity, her glow, her flaws. He gave a genuine smile to her and she smiled back. He gave her his hand and brought her on the paper.
He put one hand on her waist and the other hand locked it with her. She rested the free hand on his shoulder. There was a distance between them at least 6 to 8 inches. Nor did she go close nor did he come or pull her close.
"So our dear mr and mrs d'cousta are the referees and judges!! Cuz they are the eldest plus they wanted to see their dearest children dancing !! So let's start guys!!!"
The music started. Some instrumental being played. Each time the music stopped the couples had to flod the paper into half and dance after total of 6 pauses she and the guy and some other couple were left. He had pulled her very close to him and she had entwined her hands behind his neck.
She stepped onto the paper when there was no place for two of them to stand and did the same now. They wouldn't speak just look into each others eyes and stare.
They were busy drowning in each others eyes that they didn't even realise when the music got over and they got out of the trance when everyone clapped. Jenny on the other hand was very very jealous. Her sister always got the best. This time she was jealous because the guy with her was more handsome and everyone liked their couple.
"Maggie congrats u won beta"
"Thanks paa and maa btw it was nothing"
"So maggie u met him"
"Huh ?? Who uncle??"
"My other nephew "
"Ur other nephew" he puts a hand on the boy's shoulder who was beside him and pulled him close.
"My nephew Udayveer singh"
"Ohhh hi! I am manyata call me maggie though"
"Nice to meet u miss "
"Oh pls don't call me that it makes me feel that u and ur brother are the same kind"
"Oh nothing like that maggie"
"Btw thanks for the dance"
"Actually I should thank u too"
And they both smiled.
"U talk I will come just now"
"Ok chachu"
And someone said from behind.
"Oh so u met him miss"
"Adi!"
"Hey uday!"
"So she is the one who u were talking about ri8, but u are very wrong then I feel she is a very caring girl"
"Come on uday u have to learn how to handle girls ur very kaccha"
"Oh come on adi u very well know who is kaccha and who is pakka btw shud I remind u of the college incident??"
He smirked.
"No uday I remember it very well, u guys carry on"
"Oh I don't need ue permission dude"
And he leaves from there.
"Don't mind he is one buttonhead, he doesn't really like me"
"Just like my sister"
"Meaning she too doesn't like me she detests me"
"Oh would u like to take a stroll I will leave u back again at ur home"
"Hmm I will ask dad"
Her father and mother were watching both of them from a distance and smiled. They remembered the first time they met. They actually liked to see uday and maggie together already.
Throughout the party megha and ranveer were quite away away from each other they just saw each other and smiled. They were hesitant to speak to each other. And maggie and uday had noticed it very well. She came to her dad with uday and spoke.
"Maa paa can I go out for a walk with uday?"
"I will drop her back home soon sir"
"Its okay uday, u guys go"
"Thanks paa, bye paa maa"
"Thanks sir"
"Its ok beta and call me uncle"
"Yes uncle"
And they both leave for a walk. And jenny was fuming in anger.
